Found this little trinket yesterday. BUCK STONE model 101 with Congress Street address on the box. That would place this in the earliest factory historical period of 1961 to 1963. The 1964 catalog has the Federal Blvd. address and lists the models 130 & 131 stones. Last picture is from the 1961 catalog showing this stone. The purchase price was written on the back of the box... $1.35 and 5 cents tax totaling $1.40.

Ahhh, the SPS! Thank you ITE, and all who post pictures of their Buck knives we can again view one of the best threads on the forum.

I have three 501s. The first photo is one I carried for a number of years, the second photo is one that is older but unused with Micarta and script tang stamp. The other is older and well used(no photo) that I found for a great price. Preston

First year with apples from my own trees. Felt cool to walk out back with my son and pick our own apples! Just 4 Macintosh this year.

The praying mantis stole the show. Very cool to get to play with one. He had a small bug on his back at one point the bug crawled onto his head, the mantis reached up with his arm and scooped it into his mouth! My son saw the whole thing close up! Hi All & Happy SPS,

Thank you Armand and all who post to these shows for everyone to see just how great Buck knives are, new, used, old, arty, or your favorite work horse knife. Fantastic show you've got going on today. Mike that gold etch 916 you got from Rich is to die for (Uh I should watch my words as that almost happened to me this this year:eek:) a grail etch for me (now I've seen it on 103's, 905's & 916's)! Here is some gold Buff's for today's show.
