The Sunday Picture Show... (11-25-2012)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud.... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a 103, 3 liner and a 102, 3 liner 2x2s that I got with 9 others 100 series Buck Knives(one was the 106 axe) in a collection that I bought a few weeks ago...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

103 and 102 and all of them...

Good Sunday Morning Everyone!!

Thanks ITE...you always get the SPS up and running each week and I really appreciate that. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The first pictures are of a 122 filet knife that I posted yesterday on a thread that Matt started about filet knives, but I had actually taken these pictures to post on today's SPS...so here it is again;

These next pictures are for Herbert because he has the largest collection of small Buck Knives I know of and I don't believe I've seen him post one like this before;

And my wildlife photo for the week is not a very good photo, but I'm posting it because I was so surprised to actually spook a couple moose while hiking through the Great Basin of Wyoming. I never even thought about moose being in that area.

That's a great fillet knife you show here, Stumps. And thank you for posting the Cycling 525. ;) Sorry for the bad cell phone picture
Your Photo is a lot better.

Nice knives and pictures everyone... Keep them coming... You guys are great... ITE ... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

ITE, very nice 103, that is one I need to add to my collection - been keeping my eye open for one from the 1970's to mid 1980's. Here is a picture of a still new and unused Buck 110, circa 1968. My best buddy owns this knife, he bought it from the PX at Fort Hood TX in '68, for some reason he has never used it.

China Bucks.

The bolster shape has changed on the new canoe in this years gift tin. It's thinner and more angled. In the picture above the new canoe is bottom right. The proportions of the bolster are better on the old style.

That right there is exactly what I like about the older 110's. Look at the blade profile of that clip point. Much more to my liking.

Stumps,

I have to say i agree with you on that one. I like the straighter edge on that one, it seems the new ones all have a little bit of a recurve to them.

Here's my contribution to today's show. I just finished stropping up my 055, and now it's riding in my pocket.

I actually have a couple of older Bucks in Joe's hands right now. Hopefully I'll be able to share them with you all in a few weeks time.:)

Old Hunter's photo caused me to take a look at some of my older 110's. I also like the blade profile of the "pre dot" models.

Here are a (top to bottom) 4-dot, 2-dot and pre dot. The difference is very subtle looking at one knife, but when together, it becomes more noticeable.

Interestingly, the pre dot 110 has the best blade lockup!

Back in the D.A.Y., way back to 2005 & the Idaho tang stamp, the Holiday Tin (note the rich dark patina forming on the brass bolsters). The perfect and wonderful gift of cutlery:

Hi All,

Another fantastic SPS going this week (thanks Armand)!

Here is a few shots of a new arrival, it's a silver Duke 500. I did not know that these silver knives have a very thin silver overlay sheet glued over the frame:confused:. These shiny things are hard to shoot:(.

Yup, them pre dots got some fine lines to their blades ;)

the bottom one in the next shot has a bit of its blade used up, but nonetheless that thing is scary sharp:eek: I think it would still make a great fish knife...
