ITE....thanks once again for getting the SPS started. That set of stags are the nicest I've seen!!

Herbert....nice set of Buck's!!

I was going through some of my knives last night and decided that since I am a 110 guy from the beginning, I would post a couple pictures of my two oldest 110's. Both are 1st/1st and 1st in my heart!! :)

I like that mini 110. Here is a picture I just took in my jeep. That's where the heat controls will stay for months now!

Nothing special here, just a Buck 110 that I got for $1 on Friday. The lady who runs one of the little antique shops I go to always calls me when something I might like shows up. It had about 1/8" of the tip broke off, and some bad dings in the bolsters. I spent some time on it, and now it`s a serviceable 110. I call it my One Buck Buck.

I always liked the look of the stag outlined with the extra spacer, a 4th would have been perfect. I fondled the matching 120 to this set with 3 spacers at a gun show last month but alas...the asking price was more than I had in my pocket.

Armand, Sunday wouldn't be the same without the SPS
Haebbie..I really like your memory series
Stumps...Love seeing your 110's
300..I just got an 055 with my discount as well and love it!
JK...very nice re-profile on that Buck for a buck
Jerad...Nice leather!!

Here's a 110 Fifth Ver Var3 I got with a broken tip...Re-profiled it and got rid of the grind marks on the bolsters where the second owner took off the initials of the first owner...

Here's my re-built 701...now a one well two blade with a Warncliff re-grind on the main blade...the main spring let go while I was cleaning it...

1950s BUCK 119. The handles are elk horn with multiple handle spacers of dural and leather. The sheath is original to the knife.

Here are a few more shots of my 301. I just touched it up this morning, to get it ready for another week of work.

I'm quite happy with how the reprofiling on the sheepsfoot blade turned out. It has a little bit of a curve toward the tip, but it's mostly a cosmetic matter.

This is a magnification of the edge on the main blade. It's polished up nicely.

I actually didn't like this knife at first, and now it's managed to become my main EDC. In fact, other than a couple days where I carried a Delica in my pocket, this has been the only knife in my pocket for close to two months now. I'm starting to become a huge fan of Buck's 420HC, it just gets so sharp so easily, and manages to hold that edge for a respectable amount of time. It makes me wonder why I even bother with the "super" steels.

I'll share a couple of pawn shop finds, a 317 and a 426 both well used, along with my edc 503 stag.

Here is a Buck 311 I saw at a gunshow last month and originally passed on. Did you ever look at a knife and go HUH? A Camillus manufactured Buck with a Winchester shield? The shield is poor fitting and looks "messed with". Still it nagged at me so I did a little searching here on the forum that evening and guess what... there really was a small issue of 301's and 311's with Winchester shields. Is it legit? Still bothered with the fit of the shield, was it someones home glue up job? I looked at every picture I could find of a Winchester knife shield on eBay that night and not one of them has the trademark circle R after the word Winchester but the Buck versions did. The shield also seemed to visually match the two pictures I could find here on the forum. Compare with the shield of the yellow Winchester knife. I went back the next day and bought it, the asking price really wasn't that much, I was tapped out the previously day anyways.

I took a few more shots of a neglected Buck that's been floating around my house. I don't hear much about it on here, which is a shame, because it is a neat knife. I'm talking about the 450/112 Paperstone build out from a while back. The section toward the tip needed a bit of reprofiling since I used it for scraping fiberglass resin off a water tank, and it came out nicely. The bevel is a bit wider than the rest of the blade, but at least it's thin and sharp now. I also love the sheath it came with. I'm usually not a fan of nylon sheaths, but this one actually feels pretty heavy duty, especially compared to the one that came with my 110.
