I like those ITE. I have some newer ones, but I also have one my wife gave me in the '80s.

I'm late and unprepared getting some pictures up today. Last week I posted a couple older 110's, so this morning I'm going to look for a couple of my older 112's to post. Be back when I find them and take a few pictures.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! :)

I dug out a couple of my older 112's and took a few pictures. These are both from the first year of 112 production in 1972. (The 3 line might be from 1973 even though Joe has it listed as 1972 on his 112 data sheet)

And lastly, there was a little discussion earlier this week about record keeping. This is what I use....they are 3x5 sheets that I print out on my printer. I get four per sheet of printer paper. I also keep a separate continuous file of all my knives.

The WDO knife and WDO sheath lines are a place to write down any work I've done on either. I also have a "sell" line, but for some reason I've never sold any of my Buck's. I have given some away.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! :)

It is a saying in Germany: to give cutting tools, especially knives is cutting the firendship.
So I didn't get any knife for Chistmas. But it is not necessary to get them till I'm able
to buy them ;).
Best,
Haebbie

Couple of 2-liners patiently waiting until the next backpacking trip. Thank God for the incarnation of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas ITE and thanx for another SPS...

Nice 112's Stumps...I've yet to find a micarta version.....

Haebbie...when my Dad used to gift a knife he would ask for a penny during the exchange ! Funny how some things are present in different cultures...

utah, those are some mighty fine companions to have on your trips

these two seem pretty festive so i dug out these old shots for this weeks show

No Christmas knives, just additional 'coming clean'.
Last week I showed a 055, sort of a spur-of-the moment step in the 110 direction. This week I will spill the whole ball of wax and admit to EDCing some modern Bucks. Let me justify my slip down this slippery slope, I sometimes carry TWO knives, one of my 300s and one of these modern, racy, souped up models of the Vantage family. I appologize to my hardcore - only carry 300s breathern. But yes its true, while my favorite is the small avid, I do carry the heavy 'switch-blade" Paradigm from time to time. I like handing it to someone to use and letting them try the 'assist'. The regular large 341 Avid is so much lighter it is finding my favor, if I feel I need a knife to carry should some 'batoning' come into play. Someone gave me a paperstone Vantage, and I appereciate and support the green aspect of the scales, but dislike them enough I didn't even include it in the picture. The Lux and the Forces are just not my cup of tea.....
So there you have it, I have come clean. I don't think there will ever be a need for additional 'truths' to come out, any need for a larger knife than these and I have my old 119 if any Zombie killing is reguired.
Happy Holidays

P.S. Stumps, I would appreciate a email copy of your record sheet. 300

I started a thread this week with a finger groove 110 that I got off the bay. That thread will be called the "before" pictures. Here is what it looks like now.

Merry Christmas all, love those 112's and master series! No pix to post as I'm spending Christmas sitting with my father, who is in the hospital.

Lets see some more master series!

Great pictures Stumps.... Nice 112s and I'm going to have to start keeping some kind of records on my knives...

Thanks for sharing.... ITE ...

1st up is the "Large skinning Knife with a black Micarta handle" that I alluded to in another thread. But, truth be told, I recieved a rather large and unexpected Christmas bonus check which I used to buy it before someone else did. If my boss had handed me this as a bonus, there would have been a cage match between me, my dispatcher and 3 or 4 of the mechanics over it that would have made Vince McMahon jealous.

Next we have a knife that my wife pulled a fast one on. A Gen-5 with BOS 154CM and a Snakewood handle signed by Josh Buck.

My Nephew sent me a text asking if this knife is worth buying. Well guess what came in the mail yesterday!

I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas. Please remember the real reason.

Great show once again.

I thought I'd revisit this model. I haven't seen anything come up on the forum regarding them in some time.

Mitch, That hinged box was used all the way from 1969-mid 80's. The micarta handles ended in 81 with the laminate. Yours most likely is a 73-80 knife. With box and papers a very good find. That Founders Edition came out in 2007 also a good gift. Buck 1st used that stamp
configuration in 2006. Wish I had a Nephew like that.
Dave, Your Sawby is the 1st Club Knife and holds a unique history. DM

Whoever flipped the picture of my 2-liners above, please tell me how you did it. I am technically incompetent (but I can start a fire in the rain in the Olympic National Park.) ITE - was that you?

Sit, Nice Master Series knives. Stumps, I like your early 112's. Dang, box and all. JB, I remember the 501 Club Knife, nice. ed, Nice work on your 110. Plus, I like the sheath. Can't believe its still green there. Scott, Prayers and wishes for your Father to have a speedy recovery. DM
