Good Sunday morning everyone!!

Hope it's another good one for this week's "Armand's Greatest Show On Earth" as Herbert calls it, also known as the "Sunday Picture Show" or simply the "SPS"!!!!....

Thanks for getting another SPS up and running Armand!! :)

There were a few grumblings a week ago about a 110 that was a celebration of the 50th anniversary by a dealer in TN because they look like what Nascar might have dreamed up. :)

Well, as you may know, the 110 is my all time favorite Buck knife, so I had to get a couple of those….and I was not disappointed in the least. I really like the bone scales too. These two are perfect in every way!! I even like that the 50 year anniversary dates on these knives are from the 110's inception date of 1963 to 2013. I'm thinking the rest of the 50th anniversary 110's from Buck are going to be from production dates of 1964 to 2014.

I haven't been out much lately to take my own wildlife photos, but a friend sends me some off his predator cam in his back yard. Here is one I really liked. Just look at the look in the eyes of that blue jay.

That's nice, Stumps!!

Some other 110 with some anniversary knives (I have to have a look for the 50th edition)

Thanks Armand and a nice Sunday for all the Buck nuts

Best,

Haebbie

We don't have the blue jay in Europe. But we have the European jay.

I coud take a photo of a young one:

Maroon scale was used as EDC at work about a year, along while back. Was my first lockback Buck knife. Also carried a 303 in my watch pocket.

Hi All,

I know this is going to be a great show this week, it's already off to a great start. Thank you Armand for setting this thread up each week.

Some of you folks may not know that Buck has recycled model numbers from time to time. An example of this is model number 919, the original model #919 belonged to the Apache Bowie, today the #919 belongs to Cabelas Founder's knife. The Founder's knives are a sweeping skinner design with a very thick blade. Today I will share the new 919. Also, just to name a few more recycled model numbers 110 and 186.

So far it is one Great Show. Stumps, great knives and great pictures of them. For my donation to the Show I thought I would go with a rubber themed picture. Top 419, middle 694 and bottom 279.

This is a knife I just picked up on the Bay.
The knife is a Cabela's Buck 110 Buckeye Burl with elk cutout. Came with all the paperwork and orginal Display case.
Bolsters were quite tarnished I seemed to clean them up ok. The scales seem kinda dark and lost a little lustre not sure if this knife sat in the sheath while being stored?. If you look at it from the top you can see the movement and colors of the grain. Its still a beautiful knife.Any suggestions on refinishing the scales?

Old hunter , Whats the story on that 119? did you come across that with those spent shells? nice looking whitetails too :)

I'll add a 110 3dot to this weeks show...

and this little guy who was sunning himself in my driveway a few weeks back...

spunky little fella!

I have a Bucklite 426BK with a maroon handle & a drop point blade. I have been told it is extremely rare. Can anyone tell me how many were made and what year?

Doug, I was duck hunting in Arkansas a few years ago; getting into a boat I kicked the junk on the bottom out of my way to clear a seat - all that junk (to include the 119) turned up. The does trotted by my stand last Saturday morning, they were out early - that is a heavy frost making the ground appear white. OH
