You can share any Buck Knife or Buck Knives

Today I have a nice Buck 401 Kalinga...
I got this one from a guy I met at a swap meet
in CA... This a real sweet Buck Knife for sure...

Hello to one and all, hope you have a fantastic Sunday. Thank you Armand and all who join today's SPS.

Very nice 401 Armand, love the long sweeping blade on those. I'll post a different 400 series knife that was designed by Chuck Buck, it also came from another forum member.

Kalinga pro from Mr Houser at one of the factory sales. I can't spell or pronounce the wood species. I don't have the COA in front of me.
A friend of his travels quite a bit and sends Joe exotic materials for knives. Probably my favorite knife

View attachment 1074897 View attachment 1074895 If you have a hard time deciding between a clip point and a drop point blade, consider the Model 428 It has both. The clip blade is permanently attached and does not lock open. The drop point blade is lockable and removable. You can also put other Selector blades in this slot. The sheath has room for 2 extra blades. Don’t try to take pictures through glass case lids.

Finally picked up a Buck 110 Folding Hunter with EcoLite handles. I have had the 112 size but never a 110; stopped by a True Value Hardware store to pick up some fasteners and saw this one in the display case - box, knife and sheath, all NOS. OH
Ps SteelheadBully - that is a very nice 110; love the quality of the scrimshaw as well as the subject.

There are compounds which will blacken stainless steel. I have even seen blackened 14kt Gold. Weatherby blackens their stainless gun barrels with black Chrome plating.
