The Sunday Picture Show... (2-19-2012)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud.... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I got this 180LX Crosslock that I got the other day... I think they call this one the Lifesaver but it doesn't have the metal pocket clip...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

ITE...I hope to pick one of those up this year. Nice pictures and thanks again for keeping the SPS rolling!! :)

I took a quick break from hiking the Florida National Scenic Trail to let some severe thunderstorms roll through the panhandle (I'm getting soft), but am heading back out in an hour or so.

I have missed the SPS for a while, but wanted to post just one picture of the knife I've carried with me on most of the 850 miles of this Trail that I've walked so far. I carried a Crosslock the first couple hundred miles, but it fell out of my pocket a couple times, so I went with my old large Vantage Pro. I think the pocket clip was to loose on the Crosslock and just didn't want to loose it.

Anyway, here is a pick of that large Vantage Pro which has come in very handy while I have followed those orange blazes up the Trail.

I only have 250 miles left and should be back home for the SPS in two weeks. :)

Stump, I'm glad you had time to share a nice picture of your large Vantage Pro... Looks like your having a great time... 250 miles left... Good luck...
If I could walk two miles I would be happy... ... We will see you in two weeks... Take lots of pics... ITE ...

Here's my favorite two Crosslocks. I find the second blade in these more usefull to me than one with the guthook or saw would be.

Scored 3 Buck Knives logo ball caps at the gun show yesterday for $10 but no knives. Swung by home, picked up the wife, and headed for the monthly indoor flea market where I found this nice counter top display case. The seller said it came from an old Western Auto store. Couldn't wait to try some knives in it. Not alot of unused horizontal space in my house so I'm not sure where I'll put it yet. It's 13" X 18" with a walnut stained finish. Still has the metal plaque which is really neat.

DeSotoSky it didn't take long to fill the display case! How long were you preparing for this day? Was it much trouble acquiring the correct knives? Is this your first Buck display case? Wow! Thrilling find and wonderful display you now have. Thank you for the photos.

Happy SPS to One & All,

Another great start to the day. I look forward to this post each week as it helps me to leave the pressures in life behind for just a little while;)

For today's show I picked a Texas Ranger 110. But, I have no info on this knife, it's not on any of the Buck LE/SO lists. I took these shot a little later in the day and it was hard to control the glare:( sorry folks. It did make the scales look totally different though.

Armand, That 180 LX has a wide zipper slot which is intended for skinning work. The seat belt cutters came with a narrow zipper slot so the belt wouldn't curl. Maybe you can rescue a deer from his skin. It still beats trying to chew through a seat belt.

Nice bunch of knives so far.
Picked up this 192BR Alaskan Guide in December. Just now got around for a photo shoot.

Great show so far...jb4570 You hit the nail on the head...while away from home looking at all of these great Buck's is a nice diversion...
Here's my 650C Nighthawk in 425mod steel ;)
It was extremely dull when I got it and had scuffs in the bead blast...took about 2 hours to re-profile
and sand off the bead blast finish (not a fan of blasted blades)...now it's scary sharp and I think in need of a Molle sheath...
