The Sunday Picture Show... (2-22-2015)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

This Sunday I have a cool little 525 Tyrannosaurus
that I4Bucks found for me at one of his honey holes...
Not bad for $10... I wish Buck would make more
of these dinosaur 525 knives... I have the other one...
Even more 110 dinosaur knives would be great...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show...

ITE, my favorite dino the tyrannosaurus as a child because it scared me and seemed almost as mean as my dad who had the temper of a Oklahoma hurricane but much smaller teeth.

Your Marksman rules the globe and rightly so Chris. I've never tried wrapping mine in bacon when it gets wet. I don't have a dog so I just might give it a go.

orange handle Buck Knives... I watch your whole video

all 5 minutes ... I was waiting for a big dinosaur to eat

all your knives... :eek::eek::eek:

Had that happened would it have been a manufacturer quality issue? We need to find you something else to do with your time. I like that song and those knives but to sit thru the whole thing... You can't sleep either, working, or what.

That's a lot of orange! I was gifted with this knife yesterday from a fellow AAPK forum member - 2012 built Buck 301 with Charcoal Dymondwood handles - went right into my pocket. OH

I needed something long and sharp to finely chop my smoked trout to make a cracker spread. So I tried the Model 120. It worked just fine!!

:D:DYUMMY:D:D:thumbup::thumbup:Cool knives so far, cant wait for the rest of the Show!!

Good morning everyone and thank you Armand for another SPS! Great Bucks so far as usual, and I see Steve and Chris have brought the hilarity from another thread to this one. :D

My small contribution this morning is this 2004 Honey Worm Grooved 110 with brass frame. As you all know there is a story to this brass model. Seems they were supposed to be NS but Buck made a "manufacturer's error", and issued a few with brass by mistake. Turns out the ones with brass became rather rare . . . or at least desirable. Go figure!

Wildlife photo comes from one of my trail cameras. This one is mounted not too far behind my house.

Thanks Armand for another SPS!! Hope it's another great one.:thumbup::thumbup:

I know some of you that's been here a while have seen these before….but since there are some colorful Bucks already in today's show…… :)

This is the complete set of Bubble Gum Bucks from 1988 and the few standard Buck 425s.

I've been working on a project the last few weeks. Decided to re-handle 28 Buck knives.
Just finished yesterday and although the experience was lots of fun, I can finally get back to other things. :)
Here are all twenty eight together……. (took the photo in a spare bedroom because of the bright sunlight coming into the room)

This Buck 110 with the Merino sheep's horn was probably the biggest surprise.
I've had the sheep's horn for a while, but thought it was too ugly to put on a knife. You can see a small cut off piece of what it looked like before.
Absolutely love it after buffing!!:thumbup::thumbup:

To combine the theme of smoked trout and colorful knives here is a yellow handled 123 lakemate. Picked this up from an old time fisherman in Lake George NY during his clean out sale. My understanding his they weren't in the catalog but they could be ordered with yellow handles. It's a user also great filet knife. Never seen the 125 or 127 in yellow but would love to find them.

Stumps, oyu did a great job. I am impressed.
Oregon, back to the seventies, orange brown and gold o silver in big ornaments
let's see what you show next.
Gsea, I always look for the yellow mates but I couldn't find them too.
Armand, thank you for another great show. I hope it never becoes a dinosour.

My small part of the show: two white bone 110. Both have the same
model number and both have the same catalog number. Differences:
the production date and the frame. One is made of brass, the other
has nickel silver.

Here is a repost from the past. I fixed up this little starter set for the grandson one Christmas.
A 525 Gent Pteranodon and Tyranosaurus. It'll be a few years yet till he's old enough.

Another great SPS, thanks to ITE. I'm still trying to find room for my small group in my small shop, ran across this one doing inventory. Found out that doing an inventory is a mistake, now I need to justify any major additions,

A 1995 NS (I think) from a road trip a few years back

Some great knives shown today, never thought of a 120 as a food spreader but why not. A bed covered with knives with new covers is wonderful.

Just another Great Sunday Picture Show. For my picture I will use an older one of my three Vantages. My daily carry is the 845 unless the clip will not work on my jeans pocket then I carry the 345. For some reason the clip on the 345 will accept more material. I know I could just bend the clip on the 845 but it gives me an excuse to change out knives.

Thought I would post another old picture. This time a bit of a comparison in size of knives. The top is a Western W-49, then 120, 651, 120 and the bottom is a Puma Bowie.

I spent a good bit of time shoveling snow, and then the sun came out!! So I decided to be done shoveling and took a few pictures of some Custom shop 119 Sambar Stag Knives with mirror blades:thumbup::thumbup::D:D:thumbup::thumbup:

Stumps, Way to go on those Buck Handles. I'm sure every one knows which 2 are my favorite, but a lot of contenders for 3rd place!!! I would be proud to see any of those in my collection...Really great work!!!!!:D

I love the Yellow Fillet knife, Wish they did the Bubble Gum Colors in the 539 fishlocker:D:DBut the 425's are sweet:thumbup::thumbup:

Felt good taking pictures outside. First time in a few weeks!!!! It was tough to stop.....this is what I eventually narrowed it down to...:o:o

Great pictures today everyone of some more fantastic Buck Knives.

I really look forward each and every week to see what everyone will post. Both the pictures and their great stories.

Thanks to all.

Here are a few 525's I have picked up within the last few months.
