The Sunday Picture Show... (2-8-2015)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

I was going to share a 120. But this Show is to remember Mr Chuck Buck...

This Sunday I have some old pictures of a knife that Chuck Buck liked a lot...
172 Buck/Mayo TNT... That's what he told anyway when I met him with
my Granddaughters and Daughter-in-law at Bass Pro in Rancho Cucamonga...
They will never forget him and either will I as long as I live... He took time to talk
with my oldest Granddaughter a lot and the youngest one was just to shy... I
wish I new him better... He was carrying the new 342 Vantage Pro the small one...
He told me that he really liked this new knife and recommended it to me...
So I said I would take one if he could find one for me... So he searched for a good
hour going through all the drawers at Bass pro to try to find me that knife but all
he could find me was a the 346 Vantage Avid... He did signed it for me and a few
other knives that we bought and had with us... My Daughter-in-law had some
with her to... Old pictures but good ones...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show...

I have a 50th Anniversary 110 signed by the three generations…Chuck, CJ and Josh, but it was purchased that way.
I'm not one that likes knife blades signed, but I'll cherish that one.

I have only met Chuck a few times in the last four or five years. I'm usually a pretty good judge of character and in my opinion from talking to him and the way he interacted with others...Chuck was one of the best.

This is the book Rusty wrote and Chuck and Lori were nice enough to sign that for me.

RIP

Sad time for the Buck family and community. It would be hard to imagine where the Buck company would be if it wasn't for all the hard work and innovation Chuck put into it.
On the brighter side......We all get to enjoy some great Pics and Stories today because of Chuck....and ITE:thumbup::D:thumbup::D
Here's a neat one!!!!

Hi Armand,

Thank you for another SPS, I just got home from a long nights work and thought I'd drop this in before I hit the rack.

I worked with a heavy heart last night as I got the word of Chuck's passing. My condolences and Prayers go out to MRS. Buck and the Buck family. Just know he is at home with our Heavenly Father and now at peace. I'm sure He is smiling down on you all and he is not alone.

God Bless you MR. Buck, we will all miss you.

Here's my 379 which was given as a gift to me by one of the pastors of the church where Chuck went in San Diego. The pastor is in Idaho today with the family.

And a 525

It is obvious to us all how great of a man Chuck Buck was. He has had an impact on many lives and his legacy will live on in the company he has help build and the family and friends he has created.

Do not mourn the 1 day that he passed but rather be glad for all the days he lived and that he has had such a great influence in many.

Here is a Buck 903 bowie with mammoth ivory handles, and a mirror polished blade with brass back. COA signed by the late great Chuck Buck.

Back of a mid 90's 105 box!! Great Show so far!!

Chuck Buck was the last person to sign my Special Page that was put in my Limited edition hardcover of 184 copies "BuckMaster Knives".
He was my Lucky #13 to sign it. I cant Thank Maralee Houser, Joe Houser ,Lori Buck and CJ enough to make this page happen. Chuck at the Buck 25th BCCI said" Hey rich when are you writing that Bayonet book" !That statement re-invigorated me to complete it, especially since I started the M9 book a few years ago ,but shelved it. I have been writing madly ever since that statement and expect the book to be completed OUR Shared Birthday May 13th this year 2015! Unfortunately I didn't have him sign the special signed page that will be in my next book "Phrobis,Buck Knives and the M9 Bayonet". Since 2008 when I found out we had the same birthdays and Wedding Anniversary(Dec 26th weird coincidence) I always brought Chuck and Lori on May 13(until his heart attach a few years back then we only brought it at Thanksgiving/Christmas) Homemade Greek BAKLAVA ! Ill will miss my Birthday Buddy But nothing can compare to the LOSS to his wife and BEST FRIEND Lori Buck,WONDERFUL daughter Maralee,FANTASTIC son in-law Joe,AWESOME son CJ,GREAT daughter-in-law Heidi, grandchildren and great grand children. YOU my BB will be missed. Here is a Greek Orthodox prayer that I sent the Family."With the saints give rest oh CHRIST our LORD to the soul of thy servant, Charles T. Buck, where there is neither sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life everlasting. May his memory be ETERNAL! AMEN"

While I don't have any signed knives by Mr. Buck. Over the years I have been on this forum so many people that met him only had praise about him. He will be missed at the knife shows and other public appearances that he made. I do have a belt buckle that has his image on it.

I met Chuck at the 2011 Shenandoah Valley show where he signed this Paradigm for me. Still remember when I handed it to him he looked at it and told me, "Sure wish we could have made this one less expensive".
