Good Sunday morning everyone!
Thank Armand for always coming through each Sunday with another SPS.

Thought I would show my Alaskan Guide 50th Anniversary 110 collection today.
These are four that are still original.

These next four are modded by me...two with bone and two buffalo horn.

These next three are also modded by me...one each with Sambar stag, Himalayan ram's horn and mammoth ivory.

I helped feed my family for over 30 years throwing a cast net, then loaned it out and never got it back.
Well, twenty years later and I recently got a new one that was made for me...a 10.5' net that opens up to 21' when I throw it.
Used it yesterday for the first time and didn't do well as far as filling the freezer.
Only got this little Sheepshead which I threw back to let him grow up.
Still had a lot of fun and it brought back many old memories of growing up in Florida.

View attachment 887932 View attachment 887931 View attachment 887930 This is a project I worked on with my son in law to modify his model 560. We decapitated the rivets with a Firex spotting drill. When the knife was apart, it was drilled and tapped for a pocket clip. The clip could have gone on any of the 4 corners.
The handles were anodized in different colors. A BG-42 blade was substituted. An asymmetric thumb stud was added. It is reversible for lefties. The knife was reassembled with screw sets.

Another SPS, thanks ITE and all who post photos of these great Buck knives.

This 112 is a build out some years ago, of course I liked it because of the chipped flint blade! It still would be a handsome devil if just 420HC...the horn, ironwood and nickle silver is striking. Preston

In 1993 serialized sets of ebony handled 312s and 314s were made. I can't find them in the catalog and my guess is they were done for SMKW. The 312 stamp is 1993 and the 314 is 1990. From the limited number of these I have seen the date stamps are consistent. I like the 312 handle better. I should have removed dust from the blade before the photo.

Beautiful knives guys. I'm showing a Henry 44mag and a stamped Buck 110 Alaskan guide knife. I have a few of the guide knives but only one with a stamped maker instead of etched.
Two USA products.

Happy Sunday to all. I spent last weekend down in Eugene Oregon at the OKCA knife show where I manned the BCCI table with my wife and middle son as well as set up a display
of Buck customs, limited editions and a few oddballs. Had a great time with many great people as usual.

This was the knives I put on display at the show.

And the complete displays. Jacob from eprague stopped by and added the posters as a back drop for the aluminum cases and possibly for me to sell one or two.

And a small herd of elk about a quarter of a mile from my place. They were in the same spot for 4 days before the landowner chased them off so he could spray his fields.
