Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

You can share any Buck Knife or Knives
that you wish too...

Armand is in the middle of a move and does not have access to the internet so I will get his show up and running this week. Armand should be back next week.

For starters here is one of my favorite 501's. The scales have real nice color and the raindrop damascus blade tops it off nicely.

Great, Ged, that you are on hand to keep the Show going on. Thank you. Here's my small part of the show: a white corian 110 (without cracs [emoji6]).

James....thanks for keeping the SPS going while Armand is away playing.
That is a nice 501! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Herbert...that's a nice 110 too!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I was playing around in the shop this last week.
I had a 110 and a 111 that I had re-handled some time ago that I wasn't real happy with.
The finish on the wood was just too dull, so I changed that.
Here is the first one. I had also accidentally found the other two halves of the wood I used on this knife and decided to glue 'em up for a future handle. (ash from an old axe handle and cherry from when Ethan Allen closed a plant in VT)

Here is the second one I worked on the handle to bring out the shine of the wood this week.
This is a 111 that I added presentation grade desert ironwood burl to.

I like them both a lot more now. :)

I went back through some old photos and found the pictures of when I thought those two Buck knives I posted earlier today had too dull a finish.
Here are a few early pictures of the 110.
Looks nice, but there is no "pop" to the wood finish.

And here are the "dull" pictures of the 111. (the second from top in the photos)

They both look much better now as you can see in my first two posts of what they look like today.

Thanks James, for getting the show going for me... I haven't figured out how to post pictures from my cell phone yet... anyway great show so far... Love that 501... I'll check back later... More pictures please... ☆☆☆

:)

Great Show so far. Some really nice 110/111's Stumps, Haebbie, & 2TonyB :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Gedlicks, Is that Custom tang stamp faint or just hard to see at that angle, really cool looking Knife:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Here are a few 110's I like:thumbup::thumbup::D

Thank you Bert! I really like that one too. :thumbup:

Here is my last post for today's SPS. (do I hear cheering?) :)
This one came in the mail this week and is actually a very important Buck 110 to me.
It fills in a slot in my collection and completes every version and variation of the pre-date code 110s for me.
This one was harder to find than I thought it would be.
There are lots of four dot finger groove 110s out there, but they all seem to be the early four dots with the squared thumb press.
This is the first finger groove four dot I located with a radius thumb press and it came to me from western Canada.

Great pictures so far today everyone.

Mark - I never even would have thought of or noticed that variation of that knife out there. Thanks.

Mike - The stamp on that damascus blade is extremely faint. I can only see it with a magnifying glass under the right angle of light. Love all that ivory. I have another 501 that I think you might like. I will show it a bit later.

Hard to get a picture of. It's all there though "Buck Custom USA"

Thank you HS diploma equivalent (GED) James. :) Well done son on Sunday.

Good luck with the move ITE.

I'll try to keep it moving before a certain someone dismantles, polishes and remantles me.

Revolution 437 collaboration with second generation mountaineer Peter Whittaker, son of famous NW mountaineer Lou Whittaker who with Jim Whittaker (his uncle was the first American to climb Mt. Everest in 1963) led the first successful American expeditions to K2 & Kangchenjunga. https://www.linkedin.com/in/peterwhittaker1 Anyone visiting Seattle, WA you owe it to yourself to visit RMI guide hut and sit for the pre-launch talk to climbers of Rainier = inspiring/life changing nirvana avenue pathway.

The clip on the Rev will hold a climbing carabiner but you must open the climbing biner gate to slip in on (as you can see in the photo). The Rev's gate will not simply clip to it as has been a criticism by some.

I was footing it along the meandering Tualatin River the other day and stopped to try and capture this swift, what I call, honey bird. It gave me the slip (I am not certain but I am pretty sure that I am way too fast for this tubby tuba sloth bird of vast slowwww) until it gave me the stink eye as you can plainly see in the photo when it stopped sampling the plants nectar.

Have a terrific Sunday and tank you for wooking.

A repeat picture to get things rolling while I go find something new to photo. Here is the 112 Ranger in white Corian to go with Haebbie's 110. I never understood the "W/ BONE" on the box label.

Another 501 for the show. Am I the only one who is always bothered by the BUCK snaps that are not straight?

Well I found that I have a little bit of time on my hands today, and ITE is moving so here are a few pictures of what is in the box that I have used to lay knives on for pictures.

And yes the inventory has changed since these pictures where taken. I try to keep a few knives in there that I want close at the time.
Great show so far guys keep them coming. Stumps love those knives you help create, steel you have some terrific looking knives. Habbie it is all ways great to see you on here.
Stumps congrats on the four dot finger groove. Thank you one and all that post here to keep the show going. HL

I know I'm the only one on this forum that collects the 300 series ChinaBucks. Here is a pearl handled Buck that STEELHEADBULLY would never bother with, a 382 Yellow Lip pearl Medium Trapper. It took me awhile to find this one finally finishing out the set. This model came in 15 different handle variations that I know of. Some day when I'm more organized I'll get a family photo. It does not show in the photo but the knife does have a nice yellow tinge to the pearl.

Thought I'd try one more time....what a difference lighting makes! The picture above was taken outside in the shade. The picture below is taken indoors under 6500K bulbs. The Yellow Lip pearl shows so much better, hard to believe it's the same knife. I found the White and Black Lip Pearl mates for a mini group photo. The white pearl is kinda plain on this knife, the backside shows slightly more interest than the front.

Thank you Razorblades, and yes most of my every day knives have thumb studs on them. Especially the ones that I use when working.
When I need one I usually only have one hand free at the time, and I really like carrying a 110 most of the time depending on where I am at the time.
Unfortunately at some places they are illegal to carry then I have to stay with my smaller knives. HL
