Nice knife, the Idaho 501. I never saw it before.
Here's my SPS knife, an old used David Yellowhorse 112. I think to take it as EDC. Have a nice sunday, guys!!

Size does matter! Here's a couple of bigun's. I've had them for awhile but never got around to taking pictures until this morning. Sorry for the reflections, I just couldn't get rid of them.

Pdave, that is two sweeet big guys for sure... I like the stag on that bowie and that's a sweet new 124...

HK, great looking old filet knife... I have one like it, with a dark handle and no sheath...

Thanks for sharing... ITE ...

Thanks ITE. Here's another recent addition to my Kalinga accumulation. It's the old style burgandy micarta version. I believe the burgandy was used some around '73. It's a little hard to see the color in the pictures, so I added picts of it along side one with the black micarta fror comparison. It also came with the original box, sheath and paperwork. the box has some scuffs from storage or handling, but otherwise is just fine.

Nice knives so far, Those KALINGAS sure do have nice lines

a couple of recent additions...a 110 and 500 with anvil stamps...
Both came with factory edges but looked to have rattled around in a drawer a bit...just going to use the Duke :)

Hi All,

Thanks for the nice start to my Sunday here in sunny CA! Love all of the Buck knife photo's, thanks for posting them. I have a Scrim 110 & and a golden 110 that make a nice pair for today's SPS.

I'm still in Vermont. Getting ready to head out for more trail maintenance on the Appalachian Trail, but I wanted to get a couple pictures up first.

Here is a 500 with the same stamp as sitflyer's, but the 200 pound Peter Wright anvil it's sitting on is my new addition from a barn sale this week. Gotta love some of the old barn sales up this way. :)

I'll get a chance to look at all the pictures when I get back this evening.

Thanks ITE!! Seems like you have a permanent job getting the SPS up and running each week. :)

Hi Dave,

Those polished fixed blades are very hard to snap photo's without getting everything around you in the photo via the blades refections.....very nice 916 & 124 (is there anything on the back side of the 916 blade?).

I love your redhead 401. In one of the old threads here on the BF one of the old timers said that a lavender background helped to bring out the red color in the micarta.....I don't have any purple/lavender cloth to test his theory. give it a try and lets see how it works.

Yes, that's a great chunk of iron, Stumps!!!

I'd have one, but even the smaller anvils seem to go really high around these parts.

Maybe one day........but until then, I have to be happy with this......

jb, the 916 is engraved 068 /100. It's possible that I've shown it before and have just forgotten.

If you posted that one before I don't remember. I wanted to know if there was any etching to identify what LE/SO it was.
Thanks
JB
