This is the last knife I bought. Came in 2 weeks ago. Been trying to curtail knife buying. But I think its time to start looking again.....maybe something from the custom shop :D

Thanks once again for another SPS!!:thumbup::thumbup:

ITE....that's a nice find you posted today!! I would love to go with you to yard sales where you live. I rarely find any Buck's at yard sales in Florida.

Today's Buck is one of the two Bucks in my EDC rotation for the summer.
I spent yesterday doing trail work on the Appalachian Trail in Vermont. The first picture was taken during a break in the woods, the other three were after I got back to the house.

My wildlife photos today are of more elk I've come across while backpacking. These were all taken in Colorado.

I actually walked right up to this cow elk that was taking a nap. She got up quickly and turned toward me to see what I was. She was long gone right after the last picture was taken. The look on her face is like...."Is this a dream or did that guy actually walk right up to me??" :)

I picked this one up yesterday. Its considerably smaller than a 102, having a 3 1/4 inch blade. I know that the blade may have been reprofiled but only from a 3 1/2 inch blade making this knife a 122 scout. This is the second scout I found. This one is a later model, having the electric pencil blade stamp, which is my favorite. It gives me a personal feeling, like it was made by hand with love and not by machine and mass produced. The engraving on this knife is so faint you have to zoom in 4 X to capture it but its there. enjoy

Here is a 113 with the G-10 handles I got this one a few weeks ago, enjoy the show .

303 X (1990), modern style Cadet as made by Buck in their CA plant, flat ground blades, brass liners, and shiny shield with the "half-hammer" - early style of Buck production.

I can't remember if I posted this one or not. Apologies if it's a repeat. My Eagle Scout Duke. Wish I had some wildlife photos to share, but in my neck of the woods (er... swamp) right now, the only wildlife we have are swarms of love bugs. And I second what Stumps said - no good yard sales in my neck of Florida, either.

Great show fellas, especially on Mother's Day. I hope everyone got to talk with their mother and had a great day. No pictures from me this week.

waltmc, thanks for posting the Eaglescout knife. I have to order mine.
