View attachment 1126932 View attachment 1126933 This is a CrossLock with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated blades. The BuckCote main blade is chisel sharpened to expose the 82 HRC coat on the micro edge. In use, the softer steel wears away in preference to the harder TiN making the knife self sharpening. The single bevel is inherently sharper than double bevel due to its more acute geometry. The zipper is wider than the slot on rescue knives so it can handle hides rather than seat belts.

I miss my Mom too...

My wife and I were fishing last Sunday at our tank and she took a quite a spill. I was wearing this all week because I dressed nicer for the hospital stay.

A few pins, screws and plates later she'll be good as new...I hope...

I learned something new JB. I didn't know you could grow those in FL.

Pete, best wishes and prayers sent for a quick and speedy recovery.
