The Sunday Picture Show... (5-13-2018)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next weeks Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or a lot of Buck knives... Just take some new Pictures of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Today I have a very cool Bucklite 422... This one
I have never seen before...I've been looking
for this one for a long time... The guy said there
is only one like it... It was made for the University
of Kansas KU... He said it was a sample knife...

Happy Mothers day to all the mothers in our families! I used this Buck 422+ (1991) while fishing a couple of days this past week near Charleston SC. Got a soft bait, lead-head caught up in the jetty rocks at Breaches Inlet; as I had just spooled new braid on my reel before the trip I wanted to save as much line as I could. Waded out and cut the line with my Buck (still in the pouch on my hip in the bottom photo) - couldn't get any closer as it got too deep. OH

This Mini Alpha is a BCCI knife, not sure when it was issued. Gold etched, mirror polished blade with jigged horn scales. Preston

Being from Lawrence and raised less than a mile from the Kansas campus, I must say that the KU Bucklite is probably the coolest thing ever. :D:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
DOGGPOUND77 Tell us about the clear 422's! I had one many years ago and traded it to Armand for a clear salesman sample 112. Odd 422 information is hard to come by..Armand I'm trying to remember what color 422 I traded with you..was it the light purple?
 
Hey Armand, you oughta have a dozen or so themes of collections of the bucklites by now. Have I missed the post or are you hold'n back. lol

Thanks BP, I always had the sheath it's yellow with KU on it. Always wondered what the bucklite would look like that went to it. 8 years later I have it. Came from a ex buck salesman. Who lives in Kansas by the college and had Buck make one for a sample to try to sell to the college I guess. Back in the day. He said there's only one like it. But knowing people from Buck they always made a few extras. ITE

I could be holding back a few... I'm still trying to get 3 of each. But I don't think it will ever happen. So my grandkids are going to have to fight over them... lol
