Good morning everyone. I missed the last SPS and will miss more in the next five weeks while I'm backpacking, but was in town and this morning and had computer access, so I am posting old pictures of a Kalinga.

I am still hoping that I'll be walking into a town in three weeks that has car rentals so I can go to the Blade Show.

Thanks ITE for another SPS!! :)

Hi All,

Thank you Armand for taking the time each week to get this started!

BuckLite 422 Scrimshaw c.1990. Calling it scrimshaw but the image just looks to be printed.

Compare with another I have c.1986 I didn't realize until taking this picture that the scrimshaw scene is on opposite sides of the two knives. The image is much more distinct on the upper one.

Yesterdays Flea Market purchase. A 121 fisherman. 2-line with micarta spacers. I guess that puts it 69-72. The sheath is a mess but the knife looks to be pretty good. There are some minor flat sided sharpening scratches on the blade but the handle and pommel, although dull, are not scratched.

Here is another fixed blade for today's show. It's a 404, it has Elk stag handles and was made for TC Arms. When I started collecting only Buck knives I found these for sale on the web. I was a little put off by the odd shaped Nessmuk style blade so I did not pull the trigger. I did not know Buck/TC only made and sold 150 of these. I have had this knife on my want list for some time (Thanks Steve, I know this was one of your Grail Buck's). I will shoot some better photo's at a later time.....this knife is really something and looks much better in hand.
