The Sunday Picture Show... (5-27-2012)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud.... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have two Ducks Unlimited 110s... 50 Years of Wetlands Conservation... One is 1937 - 1987 USA and the other one is 1938 - 1988 Canada... The US one has a custom 110 blade and the Canada one has a 110> blade with a F/G handle... Why not a custom blade in the Canada one... I got the Canada one from I4Bucks... Thanks again Harold...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

Lets see if I did this right, always wanted to add to the great collections on the SPS. My finds at a local flea market 2005 112 NIB. a 506 White Knight and a 2002 unidentified. So far the SPS has beauties today.

Your 2002 unidentified is one of the "Access" line. There was the Mini Access (#462), the Access 2.25 (#463) and the Access 3.0 (#465).

On the Yard Sale Trail yesterday and asked the knife question.

Man vanished on hunt and came back with a beautiful wood frame, glass covered, 12"X18", lockable display case and these two sort of cheap-looking knives. One 6 1/4 inch blade, one 4 1/2 inch blade.

Said he won them at Ducks Unlimited Dinner a few years ago. No manufacturer mark at all and no Ducks Unlimited mark either. The display case has no markings either.

Sold to me for a mere $5 total because they were "just stuck away in a closet and doing no good."

I love the display case and I quickly filled it up with good knives.

:D

Here is another Ducks Unlimited knife, The 914 Skinner. The special projects list says 2,503 were produced for 1995 so they are pretty common. It has an unusual blade shape for Buck, I believe it is a copy of an old Marbles pattern. A different blade shape, nice wood handle with the Duck head insert, brass hardware, and "BUCK" in script for the tang stamp all make for a very attractive knife for the collection. Buck's original edition of this pattern was with a stacked leather handle, their first I believe. Hopefully someone on here has a picture of the leather handled one to share..... Great show everyone

Very, very nice! Thanks for posting the great pics of it! Buck would make a killing if they made this in S30V!

Hi Desoto,

I wish I knew more about this knife. These showed up on ebay a few years ago, blued stainless with scroll engraving and gold embossed logo.
Here is an old thread to look at.

OK, that led me to this posted by chemist on 4-29-02. I can't quite tell from the picture, what insignia is on your knife? Are the scales an overlay?

my insurance company also offers merchandise to its policy holders. The current catalog has a Buck knife in it. The company is USAA and the knife advertised is a model 521 with "fire arm" blued handles, engraving and your choice of the American flag or military branch insignia inlaid in the handle (except no army).

The knife I have has the USMC logo. I also found one with a Pheasant.
