Oh, that is a nice one Armand :) and Happy Sunday to you!

Today I am inspired by Steve ;)

Posing with a sphere of Lapis Lazuli. A gift from my friend who brought it back from Afghanistan.

Two of my favorite things. A great knife, and the "beans of life" :)

And last, Saturday says farewell with a nice Desert Sunset.

Great picture, Haebbie!

For mu donation to the Greatest Show On Earth, I will show my only custom 110, again. It is a Nickel Silver frame, Water Buffalo scales w/pins, Mirror Finish blade and I cannot use it for fear it will get dirty. It was a special gift and a treasure to me. It was sharp out of the box and I cut myself within minutes of opening the box.

After a gloomy past week, it's sunny today in Saint Louis. Here are a pair of red and green EcoLites. Both have the same 12/12/2013 date on their boxes. The EcoLites are discontinued in the 2014 catalog so these must be among the last built.

This is a paradigm pro I just picked up. I love the bolster lock and the assist action. I wish they offered a serrated version as that is a must for my EDC.

Good Sunday morning everyone

This Sunday I have some pictures of a fairly rare Buck 184. It is from thee first production run of the 1st variation and is NIB. The 1st variation has the compass in the pommel, is only stamped on one side 3 lines "BUCK 184 USA". The early 184's were had a darker and duller sand blasted finish and later they were media bead blasted which gave them a brighter finish. Production of the Buck 184 stared in November 1984 and the very first production Buckmasters made within the first few months had a snap on the small and large pouches. The rest after that used velcro instead of the snap. The one I have only has the small pouch. The compass on these earliest models were commonly broken due to the spikes which were stored in the hollow handle would hit the compass so they later went to the Sylva compass which was stored in the small pouch.

I also have a picture of all my 184's including some 188's and a Buckmaster LT 185. There are more accessories, paperwork, etc in the boxes in the background but did not want to forget what went in which box so I left them there as well as some had their compass etc inside the pouches or handles.

last but not least I did pick up this B&C folding alpha hunter. It was a big week for knives for me . I did get one other it was a 110fg - 2013 version (though my bad) I was looking for a new version stamp with anvil and buck. I will wait til later in the year and get one.

WOW! What terrific photos of outstanding cutlery I get to feast my eyes on today. ITE, Virgil Earp is buried about 20 miles from me and I understand that Wyatt is buried in your neck of the woods. A giant Lapis marble, in a balancing act, oh my what fun! Thank you everyone.

Larry Oden, capable strong and true, was kind enough to send this stag 102 Woodsman from 1988 to me this week. Thank you Larry. Here it is on the coffee table with a Thunder Egg, the Oregon State rock:

A look at the contemporaneous wildlife to be found in the wetlands where I like to walk (the Great Blue Heron had just eaten a mouse, which I missed photographing, unfortunately I think):
