It's sad to hear about the misfortune Steve, let us know when you get stuff sorted out, I would also like to help you build your collection back up.

This is a sad week for sure with Steve loosing his home and possessions. Thank God everyone is ok. I have lived where I live now for 21 years and within a half mile 2 homes burned down and 2 barns. One of the barns is right next to my property line and fence and I was out taking pictures of the fire which was fully involved at the time when I heard the most awful screaming I have ever heard in my life. A few minutes later I heard that their 3 year old boy was lost in the fire.
Years ago I also owned a building and property that I sold to Les Schwab (a large tire and wheel store) It burnt to the ground right after the barn fire that had the 3 year old in it. Too many fires in my area.

Here is a link to the 2 news stories. The family moved away from the area the next week.

Steve - I have a couple knives with your name on them. Once things settle down please get me a mailing address where I can send them. Please let us help.

Here is a mini Buckmaster. There were 200 of these made by Wilson and sold by Buck. They sold all 200 in 1987. I couldn't find it in any of the catalog's but did find it listed in the 1987 dealer price list.
The price list has a dealer price of $16.00. I wonder how many have been thrown away or lost. I also found some information in the Buckmaster book by Richard Neiman.

I wish I would have bought them all up in 1987 at that price. I think by the ounce this is the most valuable knife I own.

Does anyone else have one of these???

Thank You ITE for another Greatest Show. Very sad to hear about Oregon's loss. For my donation today is a 2007 (chicken foot) 194 with Bos blade.

Somber week here thinking about oregon's loss of property. The bright side is that there was no loss of life.

Thanks Armand for another SPS!

Kind of a slow week for me.
I finished this titanium 110 that many of you have seen in another thread I started.

This old 4 dot came in this week.
I had an extra blade laying around, so I added that and cleaned it up.
Got love the ones with real solid Macassar ebony!

Here.s my mini 184 BuckMaster... I wonder if they were made in the USA...
I hope some... and my 184 hat pin...

:)

Happy Mothers Day to all of you Mothers that drop in to take a look today.

Sorry to OR for his loss and headache, Never like to hear any of that kind of news, but especially hard when its someone that everyone is so fond of in this forum. Hope you can still join in with your great information and stories. Good luck and God bless

Wish I remembered to take a picture of the trout cakes that all this made:o Next Time:thumbup:

steelhead, yea, me too. My mouth started watering with the smoked fish and was wondering what the rest was going to turn into. I was thinking a dip of some sort but the cakes sound better.
I made a taco bar for 4 mothers today...no pics but I did use two Buck knives.

I am impressed with the knives being shown here every Sunday lets keep them coming. HL
Sorry for the poor pictures I need to take more pictures of what I have maybe someday when I am home more.

Great Buck Knives today... There is still lots of time to share some of your Buck knives
with all of us...

Thanks ITE :)

Brahma 117. I love this knife! This would be my bid for knife of the year.

Punk 065. Very ergonomic. I love this knife too.

Buck really hit it out of the park with both of these knives.

Steelhead,

Do you have your own trout pond or river frontage. Isn't that most guys dream. They never show that stuff on HGTV. Several good Buck knives and your own walk from the house fishin' hole.......Next time a photo of the finished product would be useful to me in kitchen table discussions......300
