This one has a few miles on it and looks like it has been re-handled at some stage. Fortunately the blade is in good condition - it might be in for a rebuild one day when I have the time.

Here's my submission for today...my two liners...the 118's my first Buck, circa 1970. The 103 I picked up a few years later, they have been my companions on all big game hunting trips and put to good use:).

The others I have posted about. Preston

This 188(M9) I picked up this week off that well known auction site. My next will be the USMC BUCK 188:D.

Here you go, not very 'pretty' but bet you haven't seen it before......

This is the type of box Camillus would ship some of there contracted knives in to Buck. On the other flap is lightly stamped 311 6 each. Buck was green back then and recycled the boxes as parts boxes, on the side is written a long number....they would stack the parts boxes on shelves.

If anyone knows how the knives were protected during shipping, paper wrapped, cardboard dividers, etc. please let me know.......300Bucks

Train Day 317 LE #0019
Believe it or not, I can hear a train horn off in the distance as I post this photo.....300

Believe it or not, but I can hear a train whistle while I was reading 300Bucks last comment. Alamosa was and is a railroad town. They still run steamers, too, and it's only a 30 minute drive to Antonito where you can take a ride on the Cumbres and Toltec RR's narrow gauge.

Fellas, I enjoy your pictures. Keep them coming.

Jack

You got that right Buddy! Kaylee wins hands down.:thumbup:

The best the rest of us can do is going to pale in comparison.

Ok, I thought I'd post a few 111's. We don't see very many shown on the forum anymore.

Three, all dated (on the box) from May 2008 but with no date stamp.

Two versions of the final production run from 2008

Three more, top is a buildout, brass bolsters and the ion-fusion blade sharpened normally, BCCI issue with FG elk handles, Whitetails Unlimited LE.

Last but not least and one of my favorites, the top one rehandled for me in maple burl by our own Flatlander 1963 and below that, the Desert Ironwood LE.
