Hello everyone, I'm posting this sweet 110 for a friend...
Since we've been talking about Carbon steel on a 110...
We decided to share a picture of this Beautiful 110
Prototype with a mirror polished 5160 Carbon Steel
Blade... With Beautiful Purple Spiney reconstituted
handles and Nickel Silver Bolsters...
I sure hope Buck will make a run of them for 2016 or
for the BCCI Club... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks for another SPS Armand!!
Good luck on your move!!

This was the best I could lighten your photo up to show more detail.

Old pictures for the new guys and gals...

Just a 110... :D :eek: ;)

Your bullet proof glass 110 has always been my favorite of all the see through 110s I've seen or owned.
I enjoy it every time you post it. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Your bullet proof 110 pops compared to ones I've had. (the first is a 112)

And a Steelhead:thumbup:That I bullied just a bit:DThen let him go:D:D

Great Show!!! Cool Purple 110:thumbup::thumbup:

Here is a 110 that I destroyed the warranty on last year; :)

I actually like this one better than my bullet proof glass ones pictured in Armand's post above.

Thanks for another SPS ITE. I hope the move goes smoothly.

For this Sunday, I have the new Compadre Series. As soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted the set. They finally seem to have been widely distributed in June and I ordered mine earlier this month. I was at camp this week and it was a perfect time to test them out. The 106 and the froe went over to the neighbors and helped limb some small trees. They both worked great for that task. I wanted to test the froes batoning ability. Boy did it shine. It worked great, as you can see in the pictures.

When they arrived, the handles all appeared to be dry looking. I applied boiled linseed oil to all three and I like the results. Of note, the handles for the froe and 106 seemed identical.
The froe and the 106 have nice leather holsters with D rings. It makes them floppy if carried on a belt, but very secure. The knife has a good leather sheath, which I wore all week. It became floppy too, much to my surprise. The loop is fastened with a nice rivet on each end. They swivel a lot and thus the holster is floppy. I prefer a sheath like the 100 series knives, but this compadre will be a constant user. The knife did anything I would ever do with a sheath knife very well.

Enough talk, here's the pictures:

For me, the star of this series is the froe. It is just plain fun to use.

For a wildlife picture, here's momma robin feeding the group at my neighbor's camp. She nested right on his porch.

And my last one today…I promise!! :)

I'm going to sit back and enjoy the show.

A Buck factory Sambar stag 111.

And a little whittling project I did about 25 years ago. (kind of looks like me now with that belly) :)

This is the Limited Edition 110 from this year's catalog. Comes with a stone washed s30v drop point blade, Copper frame, and C-TEK inlays. I love the drop point blade, and really love the C-TEK handles . . . they seem to take on a different color depending on the angle of the light.

Interesting story behind this 426. If the gold etch on the blade looks familiar it's because it is the same one that was on the first BCCI club knife . . . the 1990 Sawby. Vern Taylor sent three Bucklites to the etching company to see if their work would be acceptable and for approval. This is one of those three.

Really nice stag 111 there Stumps.

Here's my "Boat Bucks"
We just got back from a trip to the keys so I had them all together. I really like the new fillet knife, I would say it's a favorite, lot better than the silver creek one. Although I really like the silver creek bait knife, it feels reel good in use.
However, Sorry Buck, but when it comes to a bunch of fish none of them outshine my electric knives.buck fillet 2015-06-28 10.09.53.jpg

I'm thinking there probably aren't to many Bucks that have been used on one of these guys.
