I found out how to post pics yesterday and I explained you have to go to photobucket settings. I used to use your way ITE but no more. There are different check boxes in settings that I changed. Thank you for doing this each Sunday Morn. By the way I am recognized as a paying member of Photobucket because I was out of storage and paid for more. They don't offer the 20 GB of storage I bought the next best is 50 GB for $60 a year ad free with linking . I don't think I will ever use 22 GB. I was thinking the people that were using it free don't have an account and can't access any settings because they are not recognized members. Just in case I downloaded almost 3000 pics to a thumb drive 14.4 GB. Not all knives I also stored pics of parties.

Thank you ITE, looking forward to another wonderful SPS.
I saw this Vanguard, while surfing the bay, and not having a charcoal handled one I wanted to buy it. The seller, craigs4724, had it listed as a 191 BO5, CPM154, which was a plus. I like plain blades even though it was listed as a 191(gut hook), it didn't show the gut hook. I liked it, ask the seller what blade I would get and was it possibly mislabeled...he said that it was a plain blade, that he would check on the label so I purchased it. He contacted Joe Houser at Buck and was told that it was, in fact, the correct label!

Here's the rest of the story from Joe H. They had about eighty blades in CPM154 for the 191 and were doing them in the charcoal. Somewhere, the cart got before the horse and the handles were put on before the gut hook was ground and sharpened. Couldn't grind and sharpen with the handles on, so an enterprising individual ground off the gut hook, it was liked and the rest were done that way. The label is correct and was a 191...just slightly modified.

All though this, seller craigs4724, was accommodating with great communication and very willing to help. Joe was, well Joe, so knowledgeable and willing help. Made this one of the better buying experiences I have had.

Here the knife and with several of it's kinfolk to show the difference in blades. Preston001 (800x533).jpg 003 (800x533).jpg 002 (800x533).jpg

Thanks for another SPS Armand!
I was downloading my Photobucket pictures to save them for myself and Photobucket locked my account. Said I was over 100% allowed even though I was at 97% when I started and had deleted some of my folders....didn't add any pictures.
Seems they decided to make it hard on everyone. My guess is that they won't be in business long.

Been using Igmur for a while now and like them a lot.
Here is a Buck 124 that I've owned since 1984;

Great show today. I like that 191 Vanguard above. How unique is that and the nice charcoal handle!

Here are my 192 Vanguards, the latest in the middle. It's a Buck Alaskan Guide made for Cabelas. I'm impressed. They did a nice job. I am a fan of the Vanguard knife, it's "just right" in my book.
