Wildlife

Are owls hunt bats? I think that's true. The owl followed the bat through the window ...

Good Sunday morning everyone!!

Thanks Armand for starting another SPS.

I'm leaving for Idaho this morning!! My brother and his wife are staying at the house while I'm gone, so all I have to do is leave. Usually it takes me several hours to close up. This is much easier. :)

I have four of the first version 301's this morning from the 1960's. I believe it was 1966 if I remember right.

I took my brother and his wife to Clearwater Beach last week. This pelican wasn't too afraid of me.

Hope to see a bunch of you in Idaho next week!!

A good Sunday morning to each of you. I was gifted this past week with a Buck 103 that was made circa 1972 - a Buck knife I have been looking to find for quite awhile. Nice pictures gents - this must be bird day for nature shots! OH

Very nice guys!

For this SPS I'm posting pics of two new 501's I ordered from the Custom shop. The first has walnut scales and the second one has oak. Both have S30v blades. I'll be gifting the walnut to my father as a late Fathers day gift and I'll carry the oak one myself. Both knives are top notch.

Very nice looking knives. I'm especially fond of those 301's and the 501's there. Been kicking around the idea of a custom 501 myself .

Haebbie, first of all... Great pictures... That's a sweet Gray Bone 110...

Stumps, you have some very nice 301's... I like the looks of the older 301's... Good pic's to...

Old Hunter, nice picture for sure... I really like the 103's ... You got a nice one...

Badhammer, Boy, those 501's are sweet... I really like the one with the walnut scales... Your Dad is going to be Happy Big Time...

Folding Alpha Hunter with Elk handles and ATS-34 steel. These were done for Bass Pro. It came with a burgundy leather sheath. I believe the Alpha Hunter series was new for 2002 and this one is marked with the 2002 Anvil symbol.

Very nice! I have an unexplainable attraction to ATS-34 and those elk scales are just icing on the cake.

Picked up these Buck kitchen knives a few days ago on the cheep and then added my Cabelas Alaskan guide fillet knife to the set , using these knives makes me wish that I should of purchased the full cutlery set a long time ago and I think I will very soon .

For today I have a Alpha Hunter 694 1992 1st Production in Idaho. The sheath is a non-Buck one (Browning).

Badhammer...those are fine looking 501's.

You're gonna be "In Like Flint" after gifting you dad one of those!!

Here are some AG Alpha Hunters that I have.

The top one is an Iorn wood version, the bottom is the standard Rose wood.

Found both of them in the bargin cave of two different Cabelas. Thank you for looking. HL

Then a couple of more that Cabelas use to sell.

Some nice ones that Cabelas no longer sells, and yes one of them did come from the bargin cave of Cabelas. It would be the one with the Elk on it. Thank you for looking. HL
