Another Sunday, another picture show. Thank you, Armand, for starting another GSOE. My small part: an Akonua from the seventies with inverted tang stamp. I found it a few weeks ago at the big American auctioneer. It is a rare one and bought it. Thank you, Craig, for your help. But when I put it into the drawer, what did I find? Another inverted Akonua in a few better condition. Oh no. It seems I have knives enough when I break the limit to know which knives I have (or not).

Another fine Sunday for a Picture Show. Thank you for starting this each week ITE. I look forward to it.

I've been spending more time repairing links to my pictures than I have been taking new. I'm determined not to let PB win.

I'll try to post something new later, but for now... The handy, versatile, easy to carry, easy to clean Buck Mayo Kaala 151 in S30V.

Happy SPS! Thanks Armand for kicking it off and everyone showing off their goods!

I love the Micarta Akonua! The Kalinga might have the lines of a swimsuit model; but the Akonua can... scratch that. I was going with sexy versus practical, but no matter how I finished that sentence it would have been chauvinistic. :D

Nothing new and exciting from me this week. Here's a stack of 110s I've been working on.

Finally! I picked this up earlier in the week. I had been searching for a while and finally found one I could afford. It's not mint, but it is good enough for me.

I am going to have to review my list, but I think I have all of the Buck black Delrin sawcut traditional style folders. I might try and pick up the smooth Delrin Yachtsman, but not sure yet. One of these days I'll try and post pics of the collection (and let you guys tell me what I am missing). Thanks!

Would love to keep posting here but I am not playing PBs games. Any suggestions how I can post without PB.
Gsea, yes, keep on posting here at the SPS, the greatest show on earth. You may use the button "upload a file" and load up your pictures from your computer directly into the thread. Try it, it is easier than before when you used photobucket.

Gsea I am still able to use PB but they still are offline for days at a time. So i decided to join Imgur it is free so far and very easy to add full photos to bladeforums SPS. You can't use Haebbie's way unless you pay for a Bladeforums subscription and then I believe there would be a button to upload.. This photo is from Imgur. Oh by the way there are 7 different sizes to choose from.

Nice belt knife Mike but I am on the other side of the fence on what I carry. I carry a beat up stainless 525 that used to have Boone & Crockett black blade etching on the side but has long since been worn off.

It cuts everything I need it to cut and man have I abused it. No blade wobble and I haven't even looked to see if the blade is centered. Made in the USA and cost me only $17.

Here is a 525 with scrimshawed ivory scales. The lighthouse brings back memories. My Father is retired Coast Guard and when I was born he was the lighthouse keeper at Cape Mears Lighthouse here in Oregon and
we lived onsite at the lighthouse. We had a pet deer, played in the woods with my older brother and sister and climbed on the Octopus tree. It is now a park and the Octopus tree is fenced off for visitors.

Thanks, ITE...and as usual everyone posting great knives and fine pictures. Here is my 119 75th anniversary group. Would like to add a few more and like some of the current offerings, but, they don't have the medallion in the handle as these do, just the tang stamp. Preston

Thank you for another SPS! As always, a favorite Sunday stop. Even the ol bag 'o manure has started looking over my shoulder these past half dozen or so, she's really been getting into Buck knives.:poop:

Wasn't able to post last week, but I'll play today:

Picked up this old 3 dot not too long ago, seemed to be in fairly good condition. Definitely wasn't disappointed. The other is an old 105 I also picked up used, but a little cleaning and she's good to go. Fiddling around the yard this morning, the 105 came in handy.

I think the 3 dot will be to save, and an old 2 dot I just sent to the spa will be a mainstay in the rotation when it returns. I'm excited to get it back, it should look amazing as it wasn't "too far off" when I sent it.

Sorry for the crappy camera phone pictures and lighting, but hey, it's the thought that counts right? :D:po_O;):):thumbsup::thumbsup:
