Found this one in a 180 Crosslock box last week at a gun show, boy was I disappointed. Not what I normally go in for but after making the entire circuit and coming up empty I went back and picked it up. Drove all that way and needed a fix. The price was right. 297 SIRUS with Gothic image c.2007.

So..... Mark was kind enough to hook me up with this sweet 124. From the early 70's as far as he could tell.
Used in awesome condition, exactly how I like a knife :) Then I can use them too, without any guilty feelings ;)
This is by far one of my very favorite knife models EVER.

My Dad gave me one from a similar time frame when I turned 16, and I used it extensively while camping, backpacking and hiking etc.....
I passed it on to my younger brother 16 years after that, and needed one ever since! 13 years later this one is it :)

The Older Bushcraft knife compared side by side with a modern Bushcraft knife.

And it fits splendidly in a Thug sheath!

Oh, did I mention it is great for a Backwoods Shave? :D

This knife just makes me smile.

Oh, Armand, you asked about the Thug sheath a few days ago.
I like it a lot, here it is with a 120 in it too :)

And of course an actual Thug...hahahha

The extra pocket fits a full size folder too.
I am currently stashing a 279 Alpha Folder in there.

Good Sunday morning everyone….and thank you Armand for getting another SPS up and running.
I woke up late this morning and just knew I would have some Buck knives to look at whn I turned on the computer. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Chris…you must not shave just so you can try out each new Buck knife you get when they arrive to CA. :)

Here is my newest addition. I am trying to acquire at least one, and in most cases two of each of the different Buck 110 50th Anniversary variations available.
Buck has been doing a great job at keeping me busy this year. There are lots of 50th Anniversary Buck 110 variations.
Here is one I just picked up yesterday that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Buck 110 and paired up in a set with the 50th anniversary of the Ruger 10/22;

And for my wildlife photo is a bugger I ran across about 5 weeks ago;

Finally added an older 120 General (circa 1981) to my small 100 series collection; bought off the classifieds here last week. Even when I have nothing to show I love checking this thread to see all your very nice Buck Knives! OH

Good morning everyone! Thank you Armand for giving all of us the GSOE!!! Today is a special show for me! I got my custom ordered Buck knife that my awesome wife and family got me for Father's Day! She's a beauty!!! A custom 501 with Asian Water Buffalo scales, nickel silver bolsters, and S30V blade! Also to top it off a perfect blade Etching! " SUPERMAN DAD ". So thank you family and Dad! ;)

And another reason for this guy to smile is I got my Lifetime BCCI membership in the mail this week! I'm proud to carry the number 2748 as a Proud Buck Knives Collector!

Thank you Armand for showing me the light!

And for DesertChris I already shaved my face today so I tried her out on my sexy leg!!! And yep she's sharp!!!

Here some pictures outside so you can see the beautiful scales!

OK, here goes. I love the Sunday Picture Show and it's the first thing I check out on Sunday morning. I have a new knife I would love to show you all, however, I've always had a terrible time getting pictures to post. So much so, that I just don't even try. Well, I want you to see my new custom 110, so I've read and re-read the sticky on posting pictures and with a knot in my stomach, I'm going to try again. I know it's probably simple to you lads that do it all the time, but, for some reason I have a serious mental block on it. I blame it on Agent Orange. Here goes, keep your fingers crossed.

Stumps! Man what a beautiful set! I have a standard 50th 110. And I have a standard Ruger 10/22. That set takes my breath away. Thank for sharing your great pictures!

Did the anvil come with lifetime membership?

No I found that one and another just like it at local swap meets and flea markets! I'm keeping one for myself and the is already spoken for ( Armand ). But if I find another I will let you know :)

Thank you Armand for another great episode of the Buck Sunday Picture show. I look forward each week in seeing what great knives everyone posts for all to see and the great communication that comes with it and this weeks pictures and comments are great as usual. I also enjoy posting a picture or two of part of my collection for all to see and thank you all for the great comments in the past. This Sunday something has came up that I have to give my time to and will not be able to post some pictures but will be back next Sunday.

Hello one and all, and thanks Armand for another great SPS!

I added a user to the fold this week. I love the weight of this Csar.

Beautiful knives, as always I'm a little jealous! I'm not sure if I've posted this one in the Sunday picture show but I'll throw it in anyways. This is my buck vantage with chestnut scales. I've always been a tinkerer so naturally I had to make this one mine.

Great show again, I have only the one new for this week, the 317 NIB from Wallace Idaho. I'm on the road and only have my phone for photos
