The Sunday Picture Show... (8-16-2015)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... I got my first Buck Knife in Oregon...
I bought it at a yard sale... There was a lot of knives but only 3 Buck
knives... All 3 of them were 110s... He had two finger grooves and one
regular one... This one had a dash, just one so I had to have it... I don't
know if I got the right sheath for it but this is how he sold it to me...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

Nice score on your Oregon Buck knife Armand! Thank you for the weekly SPS, it's one of the best things about Sunday's here on the forums.

Here is a shot of a pair of Gen 5's

Great start to the show!!

Here is a 317 frame with a new 110 blade instead of the standard 317 blade!!

Good morning all! Thanks Armand for your dedication to this show. I pray things are beginning to settle down for you my friend.

How about a little jigged AWB this morning:

Since my friend started the antelope scale direction, I will fill in the 300s. Not made in 301 or 305 for some reason. Now watch someone will have made their own. Only 303s and 309s. In truthful honesty we should say simulated antelope.

MW, isn't it the Buckle from the BCCI anniversary meeting 2013?

Thank you, Armand for another knife show. I found two David Yellowhorse 112s. Dave M. asked me a short time ago "do you collect 112s too now"? No I don't. The knives strayed to me through the time ;)

Here is the latest offering from Buck and BCCI. I am thrilled the way it came out. This is one sweet knife . Maybe they could do a 124 just like it next year;)

Last but not least - I had 5 knives made up for My Dad, Brother ,Brother in Law, Nephew and Me to commemorate our camping trip this year. This one is mine - Everyone loved them.I told everyone do what you wish with them 4 of the 5 will become collectables/ heirlooms and my Brother- in law instantly put his in his pocket and used it throughout the week. Brother said he and son weren't going to use theirs because I had them engraved. ( we only get together once a year which is why I had these made). :) The only downside was my sister in law upset she didn't get one :( so I gave here a brand new metro and she was happy

I'm back! Did anyone notice I've been gone about six weeks?
I didn't think so. :)

One of the highlights of my trip home was that I did get to meet up with Bert for breakfast in Casper, WY.:thumbup::thumbup:
He's one of our forum members and Buck collector who has written some fine articles for our club newsletter in the past.

It's also good to see some new names contributing to this forum!:thumbup::thumbup:

Armand…glad to see it seems you have settled into life in Oregon.
Thanks for another SPS! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

It may be a while yet before I get into my knives to take new pictures, so I'm going to show my favorite of the 50th Anniversary Buck 110s I have.
This is mammoth ivory with finger grooves, buffalo horn and NS spacer and no rear bolster.

I got to Montana and about 30 minutes later my stomach started to hurt.
Ended up having my gallbladder removed the next morning in Rexford, ID.
I spent a week recuperating here and watching the hummingbirds feed.

One more picture from the past for today.

An older factory stag Buck 303.

Here are a few of the hundreds of antelope I saw on my trip west.

Well everyone it looks like we are off to a great start and a great big thank you to Armand and his dedication to the show.

Welcome back Stumps. Your presence has been missed.

Here is a Buck 124 vintage stag which is NIB.

And for a wildlife picture I have a couple pictures of an extremely friendly chipmunk that became out camp mascot while we were camping a couple weeks ago. As you can see by the pictures he would come and jump on our lap and up on the picnic table looking for goodies. He would fill his cheeks and run away to unload them somewhere and than come right back. He pretty much stayed with us all day while we were in camp.

If this works it will be the second time I've posted a photo to Bladeforums. This is the most special knife in our family. I gave it to my son for his birthday a couple of years ago. The next day at college he had the opportunity under the supervision of California Fish and Wildlife skinning and dissecting a mountain lion. This is a photo of the knife at the summit of hike that he took with the family of his girl friend while visiting in Germany. The hike was in the Swiss Alps.

Here are a few pictures of the new BCCI Club knife. 119's with elk stag handles and a flat ground (at least what Buck is calling their flat ground) blade of S30V.

Buck and the BCCI hit it out of the park on these beauties. They snuck in some finger grooves and I am really glad they did.

And another picture at the end from our camping trip with my family. This was a lake we hiked up to one day and my son was trying his hand for the 1st time at fly fishing. The results were dinner that evening. Yum.
