Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next weeks Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or a lot of Buck knives... Just take some new Pictures of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

special any Buck Knife will do...

Today I have a Buck 603, 619, 619, 639 and
a 620... I know I have a 602 and a few more
639's somewhere in box...

View attachment 1399784 This is a picture of me steeling the micro edge of an S-90-V blade. The "steel" is a 420 HC blade coated with Zirconium Nitride at 86 HRC. The Champagne color of the BuckCote (Ion Fusion) blade does not show up very well in this photo. The 82 HRC Vanadium Carbide inclusions in the S-90-V will not scratch the ZrN coat. This operation is done edge leading with light pressure to align the unruly bits in the micro edge. HRC= Hardness Rockwell C scale. S-90-V= 9% Vanadium (S-30-V=4% Vanadium).
 
I think sellers live in a different world than collectors. Here is the only knife purchase I felt truly taken on (top knife, a 620). The pictures were "soft" (shoulda been a clue). The description was "beautiful unused condition". Seller didn't respond to my request for a return so I ate it.
