Great show everyone. Skyler that is a great looking 110. Any idea what the 10 years is for? Odd that the blade is stamped with a 1997 date code.

My youngest son has been asking for a Buck 104 Compadre Camp knife so I picked one up and gave it to him yesterday as a congratulation present in his new advancement to
a driver at UPS where he has worked for the last couple years. He leaves tonight for driver training for a week.

After holding the 104 in my hand I really like this knife. It fits the hand well, has a nice beafy 5160 blade and is sharp as a razor.

I have had a trail camera set up for quite awhile just behind my place entering into the woods but I have not had it turned on or had a card in the camera for sometime.
Last week I walked by the camera and found a dead opossum right directly in front of the trail camera. It was not there the day before. I put a card in the camera and turned it on.
Every once in awhile we see a vulture or two soaring over around our place but the next day I looked out and there were 12 vulture's overhead. Awhile later the vulture's had left
so I went back and looked and all that was left of the opossum was a few bits of fur. I grabbed the camera card and took it into the house to see what I had. There was approx 150 pictures.
It looks like a skunk visited the opossum the night before as well and out of the 12 vultures only one got to feed on the opossum.

1 of 4 110s made celebrating 10 years of the Custom Shop with ivory and a champagne gold colored blade. Not sure what kind of coating it is.

That coating looks to be ZrN (Zirconium Nitride). It is harder than TiN (Titanium Nitride) which has a dark Gold color, but softer than TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) which has a charcoal color.

Hi All,

Thank you Armand for this great pastime we call the SPS, Sunday just would not be the same without it! My Buck nut brother's thanks for all the wonderful photo's of your prized knives.
