The Sunday Picture Show... (9-1-2013)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have some cool stuff from the 25th that was given to me from Oregon lovely wife Cindy...
I also was given 4 ink pens from Stumps (Mark)... I really love my new cup or mug that I use for my Hot Chocolate or Hot Cocoa... I need to get some coffee now and all the other stuff is really cool to, has you can see in the pictures... Thanks again, Cindy... Stump, I really like the blue and grey ink pens the best... I wish they had more colors of them... Oh and they work great... Thanks again, Mark ... My Buck knife for the SPS is a sweet 560...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

25th...

Drink your cocoa in good health Armand. May you live a thousand years. BTW that is an accurate self-portrait of me on that 3x5 card that you can use to scare the kids with on Halloween! I showed Cindy your post and she smiled, giggled and laughed. She couldn't be more tickled that you like your mug and said that you have made her day.

Here is a vintage Empress Set with the walnut wall holder from the early 1970s, about 40 years old, with black Micarta handles and 440C blade steel. It is a part of the Royalty Line of Buck Knives. The knives are: Paring, boning and carving. The silver label reads: BUCK KNIVES Famous For Holding An Edge.

short video of young bucks grazing on some foliage about 30' away from me, listen and you may hear my tongue clicking noise meant to get them to lift their heads to the camera:

Thanks as always for getting the show up and running ITE!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I have met oregon and I can vouch for the resemblance between him and the drawing on your note that he sent you. :)

This week I have a Buck 110 customized by a third party. I bought this knife from Skelator and he didn't know the history of it. I'm thinking it looks like Don Seals work maybe?? Anyone have an idea??

And this beautiful 110 with some golf balls I bought from the Buck Factory Store last month;

Here's a lignum vieta 105 for the Sunday Picture Show .
And a good lock at the handle .

Wow, that thing is in great condition, did you have it restored, or is it the way you found it? Did you get the sheath for it as well? Nice knife... I love the pre factory knives.

Thanks for the comments on this knife it was cleaned up a little by Leroy the finger guard had some corrosion and just some light scratches on the blade but I did not have it sharpened it was already shaving sharp but no sheath with it .

A pair of 102 Stags. The top one followed me home from the gunshow today. It is not factory and not something I would normally purchase but didn't want to make a 70 mile round trip and pay the $10 admission just to return home empty handed. The Stag bark is absolutely beautiful. Compare to the factory 1994 Stag knife below which pales in comparison. Assembly is a little off square which you can see in the third picture resulting in some gaps on the right side of the handle. The pommel pin is nearly invisible but the blade is a little wavy from buffing. Came with a decent period correct flap sheath and was reasonably priced.

Saw this sign hanging on a Taxidery shop while out doing some garage sales yesterday. Not a "wildlife" picture but possibly a little more representative of the "wild life" :D

Roger reminded me in his post that I completely forgot my wildlife photo today.

Here is a fisher caught on a predator cam in the back yard of where I stay when I'm in Vermont.
