I don't post in this sub very often (actually I'm not too sure if I ever did) but after clearing out some accumulated junk in a closet, I came across a Buck combo pack, in a "cookie tin" I had bought for $17 a few years ago. The Colleague knife is way too small for me to comfortable hold and operate, but the Nobleman is not too bad and I quite like it. I threw the Colleague into my knife fixing tool box and the nobleman is now promoted to computer desk/fidget duty.

Morning folks, Every time I wanted to take this pic one of the trio would come up missing. I finally got them all together yesterday but before I could get the pic the stag 919 took a nasty plunge. Oh well, they still look good. I like these old portly bladed knives. pete

This is a mint 184 from 1985 that I have the receipt the person who bought it filled out but never sent in to buck. You can tell it is an early knife by the grey color. It was sand blasted and Buck noticed the there were pits in the blade that is why they switched to bead blasting. Happy Labor Day to all the men and women who served and are serving in the armed forces. God Bless You!! Oh yes it does have the pommel compass and it still works.
