The Sunday Picture Show... (9-21-2014)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or a lot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a 422 L.A.F.D. Bucklite
with black handles... I didn't get a box or sheath with it... I think it came with
a Black sheath and maybe with a Los Angeles Fire Department logo on it and
maybe on the blade... But I'm not sure... If anyone has one I would love to
see a few pictures of the Blade, the original box and sheath that came with it...
Especially the end of the box...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

Thanks for another SPS Armand!:thumbup::thumbup:

I only added one 50th Anniversary knife to my collection this week, but it's a nice custom!
Armadillo covers! I like it even more than I though I would. :)

Here is a 1978-1979 Buck 110 two dot that I re-handled in Sambar stag and added scale pins.
I posted this over on the "All Stag and Ivory" thread yesterday. Reposting it here for those that haven't seen it. :)

I really like this one!!

Tony….that looks like a filet that you wouldn't need a knife to cut. I'm hungry now! :)

Here is the only other knife I took in this week.
Put a good edge on both blades and it's ready to use.

I thought for today's Greatest Show I would get a shot of my 119 with Idaho stamp. It is a beautiful day and the light was right.

This weeks SPS is off to a great start with some fantastic pictures everyone.

Thanks Armand for taking the time each and every week to get this show up and running.

For this week I have a few Buck Rush spring assisted knives. The dark grey one has an ATS-34 blade and the silver one is a sample prototype with unsharpened blade with a blunt tip and holes drilled in the pivot end of the handle to allow a person to see the working parts of the knife.

Hello everyone! Great start so far!!!! Pops I miss you & love you. Here is an early schrade made buck 301 stockman in great condition!

Have a great day everyone!

One more GSOE Thank you, Armand, for the new Sunday Picture Show.
Here's my small part. Does anybody of you own the gray corian 110 or 112?
A guy in Germany bought one of these knives, a 110, took off the corian
scales and put stag inserts on it. That's stupid, isn't it?

Haebbie - I do not have any of the Corian handled knives but they sure look great. Why would anyone rip those scales off? I will need to keep my eyes out for some in the future.

Great show everyone - Thank you all very much for posting your great pictures of your treasures.

Here is some pictures of a stag handled Buck 119 done with a change in color.

Here are a couple of 110's I dug out a while ago rummaging through the toy box.
Particularly interesting is the black handeled 110. It is almost half as thin as the El Cajon oak handled commemorative next to it.

Thought I would post them since there has been some interest in thinner 110's. It does feel nice in hand. I have no idea who made it. All of my transactions papers are awol. Yeah, I put them somewhere and don't know where. Oldage sucks. :grumpy::D

Wow, what a fantastic SPS you all have started here. Truly the greatest show on earth as Buck Brother Herbert would say;). Thank you Armand, for the opportunity to join in the weekly fun here.

Last week I posted a new display cabinet, now the only problem is how to put knives into the display. Well this week I have one proto knife stand for the cabinet shelves, one made 19 more to go:o. Then I have to decide what knives to display in this case.

The case:

Sure enjoyed the show! My only Buck 700 series pocketknife - a 703 Colt. My outdoors picture from the past week - coming through Masonboro Inlet at Wrightsville Beach NC. OH

A 123 I picked up last week, so impressed with it over my old filet knife that I picked up a 127X(brown handle) off the bay for $12.50 in excellent condition, thats right $12.50 plus 5.80 shipping. Thought I bring the 127 to the Pulaski River salmon run this year. These knives seem to have just the right flex for me compared to my old sheffield filet knife. Plus I love the handles and I can get a razor edge( big difference when filleting) !!!
Mark nice 317, still trying to decide what I want for a re-handle, leaning toward that stag you love so much.

I will join Old Hunter with a 703, rescaled in Gaboon Ebony, with polished blades :)

And my 830 Marksman balancing on a Lapis Lazuli sphere, just for fun :)
