The Sunday Picture Show... (9-22-2013)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a Very Sweet 531 Sawby that I got in a small collection a few weeks ago...
I always wanted one of these after passing on one, once...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

531 Sawby...

Wildlife picture... Here's Hunter...

Hunter looks like a good dog and that Sawby 531 is very nice!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks ITE for getting another SPS up and running. I missed being able to post on the last two...I had very poor cell reception where I was at.

I've been wanting a full tang stag 124 for quite some time now. I have a hidden tang Stag 124, but I wanted the substantial feel of a full tang. I talked to Heath Stone at the BCCI 25th about re-handling one of my full tang 124's with Sambar stag. I was going to have a newer 124 re-handled, but Heath thought an older one would be nicer. That's when I decided it would be more memorable for me to have this cherry handled 124 that my wife gave me in 1984 be the one I would send to Heath to be re-handled in Sambar stag.

Here is the same knife after Heath re-handled it in a very barky Sambar stag. (It's apple season up here in Vermont, so a few pictures include some apples I picked this week)

And here is the off side of the 124 with more very nice stag;

I can't thank Heath enough for doing such a fine job and choosing excellent Sambar stag....I know my wife would have been pleased. :) :)

I got the picture of this huge snapping turtle last week while I was riding my bicycle along the historic C & O Canal. I put about 430 miles on the bicycle playing around in that area of Maryland and West Virginia.

Thanks again Armand!

This little fellow is a really nice knife. Because of the size I wasn't sure if a Dorado was for me, but I'm glad I went ahead and got it. The CPM154 is sweet too!

Mark, that is one gorgeous 124. Congratulations.

Stumps, that's some nice stag on that 124... Heath did a great job on it for sure...:thumbup::thumbup:

Mwputman, good looking Dorado... Thanks for sharing...:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks for sharing guys...

Mark that 124 is truly stunning, looks like im going to be contacting heath to do the same to one of my 124s very soon.

Here is a couple of group photos as requested by some of you.

20 different 124s 122s

Stumps, that 124 in stag has me drooling! What a beautiful knife!

Here's an old pic of my elk antlered 500 :)

Here's two 412's one has brass rivets and one has stainless steel rivets... Two different years, maybe that's why....

412s...

:)

ITE your Bucklock looks new and not like a dog has been teething on it.

Stumps your 124 is fit for royalty and that haystack Calhoun sized snapping turtle looks pre-historic with the spiked tail.

Here is a Buck Axe, vintage 106, kindly sent to me from Evil Eye Earl the snake charmer and erudite collector. It is nested in Buck locks to contrast with Armand's Bucklock.

I have posted this on some other threads, so forgive me if you have already seen it. I got it on eBay a couple of days ago, and cleaned it up. There is some debate about whether it is a re-handled knife, but it really does not matter to me if it is or isn't. It is definitely an old Schrade whittler at the core, and the stag on this is simply to die for.
