Nice knife ITE. I really like the looks of the Nighthawk. I need to find a good deal on one of those.

I used to buy so many Buck knives when I was younger. I have not bought one in a long time until recently. I saw this 141 and loved the simplicity and how rugged it seemed. And for just over $20 I couldn't pass on it.

And I can finally participate in the SPS :) :)

I think I have one of those ITE...nice knife!! Thanks for kicking off another SPS!!

Here are more pictures of the adventures of my Paradigm Pro along the Mountains to Sea Trail in NC. It's been hot and humid lately, but the weather broke and looks like great walking weather for at least a week.

This was taken at an old abandoned log cabin.

This type of post is at most of the road crossings.

These were taken in the area where Last of the Mohicans was filmed.

Got about 20 miles to walk today, I have to get going. Hope to see another great SPS when I get done backpacking today!!

Hi All,

Very nice SPS going today! I've got our little little dog nipping at my socks as I post this....she is telling me "Hey, play time stupid"!

Ok, here is what I think is the best Nighthawk ever made. It's a Buck build out called the 650/890 (890 handle on the 650).

Those glaciar-worn mountains, where the Mohicans roamed, take my breath away. You are lucky, lucky lucky. Sweat some for me.

Build out Gent 525 with Sterling Silver & Gold Etch onlays, from current Web Special (thank you Buck):

AFC .925 (correct me if I am wrong but AFC stands for anti-fungal cream so one of these between each toe and you are good to go :))

Hi friends -

Last week I had rode my motorcycle out west and stopped at Buck, so I wanted to share pics in the SPS -

Yes - they have build outs for sale - but even life members of BCCI get no special treatment here.

This is looking down from the balcony to the factory. Notice all the broken/unfinished/?? knives in the tubs... I wanted badly to be able to go through those....

mqqn, your photos of Hoyt's lucite fixed blades make my heart race. What a trip that must have been from your neck of the woods. Thank you for sharing.

John F. provided me with this fine vintage hat for my display case. Of all the Presidents I have met John has the least swollen head. However, as a clue to his hat size please notice the Empire State Building casting a shadow on the hat. Luckily for me, John has broad shoulders and a sense of humor. Thank you John for the terrific cap and I kindly thank you for your work for the BCCI club. You are all right.

Here is a worm groove bone 110 & 500. Scott sold the NK version of the 110 here on the Buck sale section this week. So I went looking for photo's of the 110 that's in my pile....I never took any:eek:. So I took a few today, the 110 is very dark in color so I used some with glare and some without glare. Could not decide what looked best so here they are....you decide;).

This is the only one I have pics of at the moment but these Nighthawks are addictive.
