Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

I'm sure something interesting happened on this date but I'm just too whooped to look. Spent a good part of the day in 90+ heat dealing with cutting up a downed tree and got a bit too much heat and sun. Anyone ever wish they could be 20 again for a day? Forgive the repeat but I need an easy pass this week, this is a copy of a post I made 3 years ago. I figured it would go with the current 212, modified 103 thread.

(repost from 8/8/2021) This nice clip point 103 was one of my scores from LO's recent consignment list. Rosewood handle with brass furniture c.1993. No box but it did come with a burgundy leather sheath. I don't know the history but I am sure it is not a homebrew. For comparison I'm showing another clip point from my collection. Stacked leather handle with a 1989 date code. I believe the seller's husband was a former Buck rep. I'm not sure but I think 1989 is about the same time Buck made the Cabela's Replica of the old Marbles Woodcraft pattern. I believe the Cabelas Replica was the first stacked leather handled knife Buck ever did. The handles look very similar.

Hope your feeling better Roger!
I'd rather work in the cold than the heat. I can dress for the cold.
Make sure you get enough electrolytes as well as water. That's important.
I work outside everyday and I've seen a lot of guys go down because they don't take care of themselves.
Myself included.
You don't recover from heat exposure quickly.

Don't worry about the show repeat.
Actually this show was one of my favorites!
I appreciate your efforts.

Roger, hope you get to feeling better.
The 110 is square shoulder which I prefer. Please ignore the two traditional knives in the photo.
The fixed blade is a rarity. Sold as near perfect.
Shown along side the real model

Good Sunday morning, all! The show is off to a good start already. I'm fiddling around with my 110 Hunter Sports this morning. The one at the bottom is my edc work knife, which needed a good cleaning/oiling. The partially disassembled knife at the top is a new one that I plan to try my hand at making scales for.

Hope you all enjoy your day. And DeSotoSky DeSotoSky I hope you're feeling better!

Good morning Roger, thanks for another Sunday Picture Show. Thanks to all who post photos and comment.

Rest, relax and recuperate then repeat as needed...just like the SPS:thumbsup:😁

I'll repeat show this David Yellowhorse 109/192 probably from a left over Cuthair series blade with a repeat of his Sacred Eagle design.

This 346 Vantage BOS 13C26 was in my back pocket yesterday. Used it twice, once to open a bag of ice and the other a fuel filter for the Z-turn. Picked it up at a gun show years ago for the bargain price of $10. The handle has a chip you can see by my thumb was the reason for the low price. Not a problem for a user.

Some beautiful photos of some Buck knives this morning! I have a couple 103s packed away somewhere so decided to show a picture of my Buck 112 in S30V. I picked this up from about Midway across Missouri a couple days ago for under $80. Thought it was kind of unusual to find a 2019 date stamp in a box that says 2024.
