Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)
I'm sure something interesting happened on this date but I'm just too whooped to look. Spent a good part of the day in 90+ heat dealing with cutting up a downed tree and got a bit too much heat and sun. Anyone ever wish they could be 20 again for a day? Forgive the repeat but I need an easy pass this week, this is a copy of a post I made 3 years ago. I figured it would go with the current 212, modified 103 thread.
(repost from 8/8/2021) This nice clip point 103 was one of my scores from LO's recent consignment list. Rosewood handle with brass furniture c.1993. No box but it did come with a burgundy leather sheath. I don't know the history but I am sure it is not a homebrew. For comparison I'm showing another clip point from my collection. Stacked leather handle with a 1989 date code. I believe the seller's husband was a former Buck rep. I'm not sure but I think 1989 is about the same time Buck made the Cabela's Replica of the old Marbles Woodcraft pattern. I believe the Cabelas Replica was the first stacked leather handled knife Buck ever did. The handles look very similar.
