Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

175 Lightning. The inlaid stones are Turquoise. These were a limited edition of 500 and can be found documented on the 1999 Special Projects list. 175-TT cat #2878. Mine are serialized. Here are 2 that demonstrate a nice variation in color.

Prototype 531 Sawby BuckLock—The visible difference between this prototype and the production version is the blade stamping. Unlike the production knife, the left side of the prototype blade has a two-line inverted stamp of BUCK/USA without a model number and without a date code. The right side of the blade has a stamp for the patent number—triple stamped for the letters and double stamped for the numbers. The patent was issued on August 12, 1986.

Thanks again for this Sunday Picture Show.

I've always liked the 100 series of Buck knives and are unaware of most other models. This SPS gives me and others an opportunity to view so many other variations of Buck knives.Thank you gentlemen.

This is a headless 110 commemorating the Boone & Crockett Club.

Happy SPS

The Valox 303 has been replaced. I carry a 301 and a 303 in brass/rosewood frequently, but really, its an affectation. For simplicity and durability one simply can't beat the Valox 303/301. Integral bolsters/liner/shield for strength and ease of manufacturing and as a bonus you'll never lose a shield 👍 Impervious for sweat, water, mud 👊 Carries easily. There are good reasons that it remained unchanged for so long. Goodbye sweet Valox 303, long live the new 303's.🕺
