Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Latest arrival in my mailbox. The December '21 Buck of the Month. 4 days, Post Falls to St Louis. 112 Ranger with screwed assembly, aluminum frame, KOA wood, and a S45VN blade. Mine was perfect in fit and finish but I would have liked to have more figure in the wood. It's a roll fo the dice unfortunately buying sight unseen. As K Kostik said in another thread..."not exactly stocking-stuffer priced". Happy to have it but as I age I wonder about the wisdom of acquiring expensive collectables. All that said, I'm happy to have it and hope everyone else who splurged is happy with theirs.

As I await the arrival of my Dec BOTM, I wonder about this also, but, I want to enjoy my time here now.
I really like the 'take-a -part' Bucks...

About collecting... I have a collection of collections. Chess sets. Fountain pens. Watches. War Between the States things. Confederate Currency. Books. Coins. Cameras. Oh yeah, knives. The collecting gene I call it. Always had it, but one thing from my childhood stands out... finding a 1909S Indian Head penny in a box of coins my grandfather gave me. I still remember the rush. All of my collectibles will go to my grandsons someday. Which is why I sometimes buy 2 of the same thing ;)

I taught this young man to shoot a shotgun, how to bird hunt, and how to duck hunt. Then I taught him how to clean birds and ducks; shown below with our first days bag. He didn't have a proper knife so I gave him this Buck 493 Waterfowler knife I had bought but never used, two years ago almost to the day. He still reminds me of it every time I see him. OH
