Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I'm in Maryland spending the holiday with my brother and associated family members. I'll be on the road heading back to St Louis but wanted to be sure the SPS was started. Consider this the Saturday-Sunday show if you like. I've repeated a post from 2022 to save some time better spent visiting family.

Hippopotamous tooth handle on a Custom Shop 103. The only Buck knife with a hippo tooth handle I've ever seen.

Interesting Hippo Facts.
Probably the most dangerous land animal killing 500 people per year.
Are herbivores, the large canine teeth are for defense and fighting
Have the largest teeth of any animal.
Males can weigh up to 3 tons.
The canine teeth can grow to more than 18"
Eat on land and poop in the water
Eat 50 to 70 lbs of grass daily, foraging mostly at night
Can not swim but can move under water up to 15mph
Can open their mouths almost 180 degrees
Unlike the rhino, they have good eyesight
Live up to 40 years in the wild
George Washington had false teeth made from hippo ivory.

I will play early today , Thank you as always Roger for the SPS , the 112 here I grabbed (cheap) as I see alot of 112's on here and only had 2 , now its with me most days, got a nice edge on it and cleaned it up, sheath is still nice - perfectly used.
It is starting to get chilly up here so hung around the house today and took out this old early 70's 110 that doesn't see much day light anymore still in box, condition is new, love the wood on this one. Also added the 111 Enjoy Pete

Thanks for taking the time to get the Show started Roger. Safe travels. Hope you're mostly south of all that snow.
That brings back memories. The copper country is a special place 🤩
