Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

This day in History.. December 3rd, 1984.. The Bhopal Disaster
A Union Carbide pesticide plant leaks 45 tons of methyl isocyanate and other toxic compounds in Bhopal, India, officially killing 2,259 - other estimates are as high as 16,000 (including later deaths) and over half a million injured. The disaster made worse being located in a densely populated area. It was considered the worlds worst industrial accident. I get the impression there was never adequate help and compensation for the victims or accountability by those responsible. Now almost 40 years later toxic contamination is still a problem.
Looking thru the cabinet for something different. The model 810 TLC knife (Tile, Linoleum, Carpet). New in 1992 and can be found in the general catalog until replaced in 2001 by the model 820 with a black Kraton handle. I don't think I've ever seen an 820. Provided in a number of variations, boxed, clam, with and without sheath, Snap-On Red, and a Work Man, possibly others? The 1991 Special Projects list shows 90 made for Snap-On with a red handle and "electro etched" blade, I assume that to be the Snap-On logo. Mine does not have the electro etched logo, overrun perhaps. The second image is the Workman version with the standard gray handle. The last image is from the 1992 general catalog.
