May 12 is also National Limerick Day.
If you know a good Limerick, post it.

A "Man from Nantucket" is the opening line for many Limericks

. There once was a man from Nantucket

. Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
. But his daughter, named Nan,
. Ran away with a man

. And as for the bucket, Nantucket.

April 2024 BOTM. 152 Fixed Blade Ranger with S35VN blade steel. African Ebony with Nickel Silver rivets and bolster. 1 of 750.
I could accept streaked Ebony if both sides matched but the single white blob on one side feels more like a blemish so yeah, I'm disappointed in the appearance. Prop is my new Ruger Wrangler Birdshead .22 rimfire. Silver Cerakote finish and 3.75" barrel.

s35vn steel Roger, not s25vn.....minor typo there.....

I like any ebony with any streaks. makes it unique....I realize I'm in the rare group who prefers steaked ebony over pure black. yours looks good to my eye........

Thanks Jesse, nice to know someone actually reads my stuff 🤣
I'm good with "streaked" Ebony but mine ain't it.
Eye of the beholder I guess.

* There once was a man from Boston

* Who drove round in a tiny Austin
* There was room for his ass
* And 2 gallons of gas

* But his balls fell out and he lost them

Wishing everyone a fine Mother's Sunday to you and yours. Many Thanks to Roger and all who continue the fine tradition of the SPS. For your review, a Custom sheath offered by Buck in the early 1980s with period correct 119...........

2012 Cadet on '84-85 catalog
What catalog you got there? I assume not a Buck catalog due to "page 880". Love to look at the old ones.

Happy Mother's Day, to all of you. I was blessed with an amazing Mother. She has always been there for me, and I try to do the same for her. I've posted this photo before, and today I was able to give her this beautiful new Buck Chef's knife. She loves it.
