Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

On this Day.. May 7th, 1915 The sinking of the Lusitania off the Southern coast of Ireland by a German U-boat contributed indirectly to the entry of the United States into World War I. The ship sank in less than 20 minutes. Of the 1,959 men, women, and children on board, 1,195 perished, including 123 Americans, Although we did not enter the war until 1917, the sinking solidified American sentiment against Germany.
Lusitania: Length 787'. Launched 1906, Sank 1915 on 202nd Transatlantic voyage. Loss of life 1,195
Titanic: Length 883'. Sank 1912 on maiden Voyage. Loss of life >1,500
Addendum: The Germans justified the sinking because the ship was carrying munitions.
"The ship’s manifest made no secret that it carried weapons in its hold, including 4,200 cases of Remington rifle cartridges and 1,250 cases of shrapnel shells and fuses." Perhaps not wise on a passenger ship in hindsight.
This is the 532 BuckLock from the 2023 Legacy collection. Black Micarta handle with barehead copper bolster. The blade steel is 154CM. Note the long nail nic. I appreciate that Buck included the slip pouch in addition to the leather sheath as I try to not store knives in the sheath. I purchased this one along with the Legacy 110 with scalloped handles. Was intending to pick up the Titanium also but decided to pick that one up next month to ease the pain. Big mistake, I was thinking Buck had decided to give BCCI members the discount on the Legacy knives also but apparently it was an error. At least I was able to pick up the 532 and 110 with the discount before that window closed.
