Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)
On this day September 10, 1897 The Lattimer Massacre
The mining Barons were politically powerful and the working conditions in the Pennsylvania coal fields were abusively intolerable.
A sheriff's posse of 150 armed with Winchester rifles kill twenty and wounded many more unarmed protesting miners.
The Sheriff claimed they were attacked by the protesters but the medical evidence was that nearly all were shot in the back.
There was suggestion that some of the deputies had joked all morning about how many of the striking protesters they could kill.
Sheriff Martin and his deputies were tried and then acquitted for murder despite the national outrage.

This week I have a random pick from the shelf. Normally I'm a brass polisher but these are nice and uniformly patined so I'll leave them be. Black G10 scales, S30V blade, and an Idaho date code round out the package. Interestingly the G10 scales are slightly recessed below the bolsters. The tang markings are stamped, something I like so much more than the current laser etching.
I purchased this knife from Makael here on the forum. It was listed as a Joe Houser buildout.
