Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)
This day in History, September 18, 1773. George Washington, first President of The United States, lays the cornerstone for the United States Capitol in a Masonic Ritual. What caught my attention about this was the reference to a Masonic Ritual. I was curious and googled US presidents who were Masons, the count is 14, almost a third. Beginning with George Washington, the most recent was Gerald Ford. See the entire list here...

My opening this week is a Stag Kalinga and Akouna from the original Custom Shop. The Kalinga would be an early Custom Shop build because the pointed guard changed to the blunter style about 1981, about the same time the Custom Shop began operations. Of course the Custom Shop was not bound to using the same guards used on the production line but I would still argue it is early. My second knife, the Akouna, shows the blunter style guard. It came with a 1994 documentation letter . 1994 would be at the end of Custom Shop operations. Custom Shop trivia tidbit.... the Custom Shop generally used two handle rivits but production knives had three.
