Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Announcement.
I'm going to visit my brother in New York. James Gedlick will do the kick-off next week. Thanks James.

First up for me, an Elk handled 005 Gen-5 Majestic Elk skinner with laser etch art on the handle. 1 of 500 from the 2009 Legacy collection and is listed on the 2008 Special Projects List. 154-CM blade and a Nickel Silver guard. There is a companion 110 and 301 in the series.

196 Mini Alpha Hunter with Bone and Malachite handle. Mirror polished 420HC steel. A limited edition of 200 and can be found listed in the 2008 Mid-Year catalog and the 2008 Special Projects list. A 301, 270 and 694 joins the series for a total of 4 knives. I like sets,... one purchase leads to the need for more.

The show goes on! Thank you, DSS, for your ongoing work and to all the other participants.
My small part: the „big four“ with red and black micarta handle. I got the red Akonua these days - thank you, James!

Your completely welcome Herbert. Glad you like the knife and happy I could help complete your collection of maroon micarta fixed blades. They all look fantastic together.

Thank you Roger for bringing us this platform for all us Buck guys together each and every Sunday.
There is another thread talking about Buck Knives making the blades for Browning's Living History knives.
One of them is confirmed as being made by Buck is the Vietnam Bowie. Some of the leftover blades were made by Joe Houser into special limited runs.
There were 3 variations as described in the included COA's. 10 in black phenolic, 10 in elk stag, and 10 in cherrywood for a total of 30 made.
I have the elk and the black phenolic as well as a possible sample, leftover, or prototype of the Browning version with wood handle.
I hope to find the cherrywood version at some point. Anyone out there have one to show?
