The Survival Sheaths are in stock. I worked for a long time on this project, and this is the culmination, along with the excellent folks at Spec Ops brand. There are two models available, long and short, and a great expandable pouch for a small E&E kit. It comes in three colors, MOLLE compatable, great new compression fit liner as well. The retention strap is adjustable for different handle widths. I'm very happy with the result. A great sheath for multiple knives and a substantial survival kit.

Yes, it is a great sheath. I've had mine for a little while now and like it a lot.

Good job Rob!

Great looking sheath! I'm wondering I have a blade with the follow dimensions, will it fill in the sheath?

Blade length: 6 1/8 inches
Blade Width: 1 3/4 inch
Spine Thickness: 0.230 inc

Obviously it has a few more features, but I can't help but think that it reminds me of the Becker sheaths.

I've got a Becker BK9 and a Survival Sheath I got from Spec-ops. The Survival sheath is great! Very nicely made with lots of adjustments that can be made. It is ALOT nicer than my BK9 sheath which is not at all bad just not as nice as my Survival sheath. I recommend it highly. Plus its made in the U.S.

Can we get dimensions on the two models? It is hard to get a feeling for what range of knife sizes these can accomidate.

Interesting sheath. This is the type of sheath I'd want for a Becker style of blade, and this sheath looks much more versatile than the Becker sheath. Will it fit the BK-7? I like the idea that it's made in the "USA".

I like the concept, if you need one sheath that will fit anywhere. Kind of an all things to all people sheath. Or one sheath for multiple knives.

However, for 50 bucks, I am gonna be really tempted to get a custom belt/chest/etc. unit from Robert that fits me exactly where I want.

It will definately fit, there is also a smaller version that fits blades up to 6".

Hey Rob
Still waiting for the gear i paid for, sent you a couple of emails.
Please response.
Sorry for posting on this thread

Thank you.

Xman, I will get that off to you as soon as I can get through the maze of customs. Just lost 1200.00 to your boys, not in a hurry to do that again.

Robert,

This is the sheath we talked about? It looks darned good.

Is it a split belt loop on the top?

It is split. It can fit MOLLE gear that way, although it's great to wear on either side of a belt loop so it doesn't wander around on your waist.
