Happy Easter Sunday, everyone! I just thought it would be nice to start a thread about the great knives from the land of the Kiwis: Svord Knives.

Most of us were introduced to Svord by the Peasant Knife, which is my favorite knife. Their fixed blades are now starting to take hold as well. Post up some photos and stories of your favorite Svord knives. Let's see your mods, stickers, drop points, bowies...

I EDC the Mini Peasant, which is easy to use and maintain. I put it everyday in my pocket without thinking twice.

Ya know, I haven't tried one of those yet, and I keep meaning to. If I like my Sardinian resolza, and my French Opinel, I'll probably like the Mini peasant. Just can't make my mind up on what color to get.

Carl,

Send me an email. I have one that could use some love. :)

This one is dismantled and awaiting new handle scales .
This had aluminium handles and a riveted construction .
Svord should be ashamed of themselves for producing such a knife .
The whole idea of a Friction Folder is that you can adjust the tension with the screws .
I bought it knowing all I wanted from it is the Blade , but seriously the guy on the design team who decided to use rivets needs to take a holiday .
I love Svord knives and have owned them since they first started many years ago , I'll take a picture of my oldest one and post it up tonight .

I really like my Mini Peasant. I bought the plastic handled model and made some G10 scales for it. The G10 added strength making it feel more solid while giving it a thinner profile. I also added some PB washers to give it a smooth action.

Here is my Rabitters knife , that Svord sold as a Kit .
You put the handle scales on and finished the knife yourself .
I can't remember when I got this , but it was a long time ago .
Only God knows how many animals this knife has processed , because I can't count that high :)

I'm a big fan of the Farmer's Knife. Oddly, it disappeared from one of my distributors' selection, and my other source has been out of them for months. I hope they didn't get rid of it altogether.

A good friend from BFs gave me this a while back, my first friction folder (thanks again, RemyKaze!). I am very impressed with the simplicity and functional nature of the design. Also might be the sharpest knife I own, i really like the Svord steel.

I have a Peasant and Mini Peasant both in blue(I am always fond of knives in blue), but my favorite Svord, and the only one I've used(for some minor yard work) is the Svord Kiwi Machete:

DShiflet, that machete looks awesome. Is it L6?

Yep, L6 on the machete. It is small and ultralight(blade is just under 12'', and it weights right about 1 pound), and it even comes with a sheath, though the sheath is this hideously ugly yellow rubber coated fabric that looks and feels like a rain slicker...

Yeah. I like to refer to the "sheath" as more of a durable edge cover.
