I just wanted to share this comparison with everyone. The ASH belongs to Magoo, when i received it i was surprised how similar it was to my custom R6 in size and shape. I think It makes a great ASH alternative.

Comparison pictures taken with Magoo's permission. Thanks brother.

I think so.

The Rodent 6 makes a great TGLB alternative as it is from the factory, with a little customizing you can also make it similar to the ASH. Pretty cool for those who cant really afford the Busse models.

Interesting comparison. Did trade my ASH-1 due to handle issues, looks like the R-6 will work:thumbup:

Im a big fan of this drop point R6. It has taken the spot of my Ratmandu.

If you like a thick knife and drop points... like i do :D then i highly recommend this knife.

We need to find out if the CG Ratweiler will come out! If it doesn't the Swamp will still get some of my money.

The Anniversary CG Ratweiler is definitely coming out. I ordered mine last May LMAO

you can see a picture of it right under/below my drop point RMD, Thats Blade magazine.

The only question is WHEN?? :D

I'd say all 3 of those should be brought back:

But as WW, stated above, the bunch of us who ordered Ratweilers last May were promised the orders will be fulfilled when knives are done. And LE version means that blanks have been delivered, and the best ones have been picked for satin job.

What Elof said! Bring the big boys back! Nice comparison WW. After having owned an ASH for a short time, one thing I loved was the scales. They just fit perfect and were so comfy. That would be nice if the R6 could have those scales.

Is that the Skinny ASH? Looks like it to me. I still would take the sea horse handle over the Rat :)

Yes its a skinny ASH.

And i think the Busse's handle looks cooler, but the Rat's handle feels better in my hands when i choke up on the knife, and allows more comfortable grip options for me.

Honestly if i had to choose between these 2, even if they were the same price and both just as easily available, Id still pick the rat as a user.

The Busse ASH is pretty awesome dont get me wrong, but i personally prefer the shape and feel of this Rat R6.
