The swedge changes the look!

I love the native 5. It is the perfect medium sized knife. I always thought that the blade profile could have been improved.
However, I was wrong. Without the swedge, the knife looks a lot different. Better to my eye. Both of these Native 5's have the same profile, but look a lot different.

What do you all think?
I would like to see a full flat grind Native 5 offered without the swedge.

Some people prefer the swedge. Some people prefer the flat grind. I have Natives with both and don't have a specific preference for one over the other.

There are also differences in the design/feel of the scales. From flat to contoured. I prefer contured which feels better in my hand. There only 1 variation of the Native that comes w/a contured handle.

It's the Native 3 -- one of the rarest and hardest to find -- and it only comes w/a swedged blade.. So, my "favorite" variation of the Native is the Native 3, which looks like this in either PE or PS:

The Native 1 looks similar because it also uses an FRN scale (this was long before the Native 5 "lightweights") but it's more flat than it is contoured.

PS: I know that these knives are not "identical" and I'm still working on finding a better match, one way or the other.
