Without a doubt, my favorite multi tool is the Victorinox Swisstool. I was thinking about how it's been on the market since 1997! In almost 20 years, the tool is essentially unchanged. They have tweaked the plier head over the years and most recently switched the pointy serrated blade for a sheepsfoot blade. But that's it. Compare this to Leatherman's comparable SuperTool, in that time frame there has been the SuperTool 200, Core, SuperTool 300 etc.

Of course there are different variations of the Swisstool and also the Swisstool Spirit but the tools have not had any significant changes since they were introduced. And, the Swisstool is still direct competition to the SuperTool 300 and the Swisstool Spirit is direct competition to the Wave/Charge. That is pretty remarkable in my opinion. :)

With that being said, I hope Victorinox does introduce a new plier based tool in the near future!

I wish that Victorinox would come out with a one-handed opening tool.

I have had many Leatherman models, and quite a few Vic tools. My main carry tool is the Victorinox Spirit. There is no comparison in my opinion between the Vic's vs. Leatherman's quality. The Victorinox shines!

But, I really miss the one handed opening. REALLY MISS IT! I am debating about going back to my Charge TTI.

I do love my victirinox swiss tool as well! In my pocket every day for the last two years

Although a big fan of the Charge TTi, I also have a Vic OH Trekker on my all time favorites list. That's my EDC during the times of year when I'm doing outdoor stuff and don't need pliers all that often. When the Swiss army adopted it in 2008 to replace the iconic Soldier, it was the right move.
Although larger than the 93mm alox, dangling into RF pocket makes it an easy all day carry for me. It comes in a partially serrated version that is best of breed for that kind of blade, my preference in this format, and and a PE alternate that many prefer. If you haven't tried one yet, I urge you to do so.

I'd love to see Victorinox come out with a smaller, less anchor-like multitool. About the size of Leatherman's Juice line.

I wish they would make a keychain size multitool the size of the Leatherman Squirt :-)

I know they won't though because they already have a few keychain size knives.
