It does exist, I saw it today at the SOS in Mesquite Texas. Sal and Eric are great to talk to and their new stuff is going to amaze you. I can't say anything else about the SpyderFly other that it is amazing and the price point they are going to intro it at will blow you away. It has some very interesting and inovative mechanics. I can hardly wait!

:D :D :D :D

They were aiming for "by Christmas," but 1st Qtr '04 is probably a reasonable estimate.

So when is hte new catalogs being put out?????? I wanna take a look at all the new blades that are being put out.

This is the same catalog with the karambit right???

Too bad I'm in Canada, balisongs are a big no-no here, right? :(

Still, sounds like something truly amazing... :)

1st quarter 04 was the time frame mentioned. It is in the dealer cats that will ship in November fpor them ot be ready for the first of the year. It is awesome! Sal said that it would be first shown here since it was this forum that drove it's design.

The proto kerambit is here as well! Another great design. I do not remember any more about it as far as price and delivery. I was to much involved in the SpyderFly. They are both Bad A$$ and will make formidible pieces to your EDC.

Thanks cerberus. I'm going to try to get down tomorrow, but I've got a full night on lower Greenville planned so we'll have to see. :D (Had to work today).

these are two knives that i'm really excited about! If they are anything near as good as what people have been saying they will be fantastic

I was the SOS show too, saw the spyderfly. I wasn't asked to NOT discuss it or anything publicly. So just in case, I won't say anything yet until Sal or some other moderator of this forum says it's OK. But basically, it's going to be priced GREAT, and will definitely open up a whole new area of manipulations because of its innovative features. I was also told that there are ADDITIONAL Spyderfly designs in the works, with different blade profiles and more new innovations.

I got to handle another proto that apparently has been named Scorpius. It was designed by Eric I think. Knifecenter.com had a pic up in their news section for those who have not seen it. It is sweet!

There are good things to come........good things to come!
