It seems that whichever knife maker that Triple Aught Design chooses for their LTD ED runs then magically makes them very collectable, even the non TAD Ltd Ed knives all get bought up. Has anyone else noticed this?

All of the sudden bandwagon jumpers are buying up what they never noticed or paid any attention to before. But now it's got the TAD seal of approval, WHAM everyone wants a piece.

That's called "marketing".
Many of the TAD knifes get listed on their web site at exactly 12:00pm est. on Fridays and are only available through their "lotto" system.
You can always pick up a "Chinese" TAD Gear knife

true, marketing done at it's best. Same product, same function, a logo and maybe a different pattern applied, and everyone likes paying twice as much. Genius!
